Good Vibrations

Hello from the tropics, Fabulous Readers!  Won’t you come over to Baja Sands and join me?  After reading Aline’s post the other day, I could almost hear the palm trees rustling in the sea breeze, and got a yearning to dip my toes in some salt water.   After I logged in to SL, a group notice popped up on my screen announcing the latest gift for the Mesh Avatar Appearance Maniacs group, and it happened to be for a sexy two piece bathing suit.  It was meant to be!  I scurried off to the Maci shop, scooped up the giftie, cruised back home to pick up the pupster, then packed our bags for an ocean getaway.

One thing I love about the Playa suit is the pieces can be worn independently, so you can mix and match with other items in your inventory.  Wouldn’t this top look cute with a pair of black capris?  Since I had nothing but sand and sunshine on my mind, I wore the thong and top together, then hit the surf.  With its dangling ties and criss cross openings in the back, the bikini top offers plenty of sensual touches which complement the bright colors and lush print.  I’m sure plenty of admiring glances will be cast your way when you stroll along the shore in this sizzling suit.  To pick up a copy for yourself, teleport over to the Maci store, switch to the MAAM group tag, and tap the vendor.  Although the MAAM Group has a 50L join fee, there are numerous gifts scattered around the grid, so you get a lot in return for becoming a member.

C’mon Let Me Ride Your Bicycle

Hello there Fabulouses! It’s been a while since I have pulled my bike out and taken it for a ride in RL.  In fact, I can’t remember if I still own one.  It may be in the back of the garage somewhere!  All of this wonderful warm weather is sure opening me up to the idea to look for it, but today I decided to go for a ride inworld instead.  Here when I crash into things and fall off, it doesn’t hurt :D.

Oh, um hi Fab Free!  You caught me quoting from my fave book – Lord of the Rings.  Yes, I am a mystery wrapped in an enigma, I am aware!  (ha).  Anywhos, I’ve clothed myself today with a free top, that I think is pretty darn cute.  The Anita Jeans top is a free group gift at Loki, and their group is free to join!  The enclosed HUD allows you to change the colour of the top to six delightful hues.  This gift is a Maitreya Lara exclusive.  There are a bunch of other gifts you can pick up while you’re there too, so hop to it!
