Big City vs. Small Town

Big City vs. Small Town
When I was young and brave, I moved from a very big city to a small town. I thought I was getting away from the hustle and bustle, but what I learned was that even the small towns bustle, just in different ways. I miss the big city, but I’m still nearby and can visit!

  1. I moved from outside San Francisco, CA to the boonies in KS, so I totally understand. lol Small towns are a tiny, unified bustle all of their own, with a gossip grapevine that’s faster than a text message. *grin* I love being rural, but the biggest thing I miss is restaurant deliveries. Some nights I really want to get a pizza or some Chinese delivered! LOL On the upside, we have moonshine. ;D

  2. YES to the gossip! I have since moved to a compromising “small city” and have a little bit of best worlds. Thanks for commenting Georgia – enjoy that moonshine!

  3. According to “Santa” the cherry from this past stocking was even better than the apple pie version from a couple years ago. LOL
