It has recently come to my attention that I often venture out into winter conditions in SL wearing the least practical thing possible.  But you know what I say to that?  I say I can’t catch pneumonia in SL, so I’ll wear whatever I want in cold weather! So there!

Making Holiday Plans

I’ll be home for Christmas, You can count on me…

I am pretty excited this year that I get to be home for Christmas.  Sure, it’s a little more work to host the holidays instead of attend them, but you know what?  The holidays are exhausting no matter where they are and at least I get to sleep in my own bed!  I’m sure I’ll be kicking myself later when I’m up at the crack of dawn, slaving over the stove and have wrapping ribbons stuck in my hair, but for now it seems like a nice idea!  There will be snow, and mistletoe and presents on the tree!

That’s because Silvan Moon Designs has me covered with a great group gift. When I picked up my POE gift from Silvan Moon Designs that I showed you {here} I noticed that they had out a gorgeous flapper dress as their group gift. The group is 500L to join, but the fantastic gifts make it well worth the fee.

The beads around the bottom are separate and the dress can be worn with or without them, and you also get the modifiable headband. Just a bit of editing, and the headband fit over my hair like a charm. Hurry before this dress is replaced with the next group gift!

Out of gas and out of time….

As I was getting dressed for the pre-Christmas party she had planned, She decided we needed yet another tree to let all the guests decorate. Cute idea, but the timeliness of her idea left a little to be desired. So, I hopped in the truck and headed to the wooded area out back to find a suitable tree for her grand scheme. It didn’t take long to find what I wanted and a quick cut and it was in the back of the truck headed home… Easy peasy, right? Long story short, I ran out of gas. She’s on her way with the spare 5 gallon tank, but she isn’t happy….
