Replenishing Pixie Powers

Reindeer Princess

Hello Fabulouses!  As Ripley and I were out wandering the grid, my canine pal froze, pricked up his ears, tilted his head, then took off running.  Barely managing to keep him in my field of vision, I trailed behind, wondering what in the world had gotten into the pupster this time.  Out of breath, I finally caught up to Rip at the Pennycat sim, where I found him offering a comforting paw to a downcast pixie.  She and the other magical creatures on the sim explained that the Great Pixie of Winter had been weakened in a battle with the Demon of the Sun.  By collecting snowflakes and returning them to the Pixie of Night Snow, we could help the Great Pixie of Winter to recover all three of her powers.  It seemed a simple enough task, and with the promise of some lovely hunt prizes, Ripley and I set to work collecting snowflakes for the Pixies of Snow Hunt.  In just a short amount of time, we were victorious in our mission, and gathered our hunt prizes.  Two of them are featured in tonight’s post.

My gorgeous crimson and white gown set the theme for the outfit I put together for my photo today.  The Aurora Princess Dress is a free gift from Shanti for members of the Shanti Bohemian Shop group.  This stunning strapless dress features a red bodice with contrasting white stitching, and a full paneled, floor length skirt.  In the chilly early winter air, I was grateful for the coordinating wrap draped around my shoulders.   The gift box includes mesh in XS, S, M, L, XL and an alpha layer for classic avatars.  To pick up a copy for yourself, teleport to the shop, activate the group tag (50L join fee) and click the vendor.  The generous designer set out other gifts out for group members, too.

A “Crown” Atop My Head and a New Found Friend

The free prize box from Tayren’s Fantasy Fashions awarded at the conclusion of the Pixies of Snow Hunt contained two fun accessories to complete my outfit.  Sitting atop my head, the free Winter Stag Antlers added a touch of whimsy and holiday spirit to my otherwise formal attire.  The pale gray color scheme worked well with the winter white sections of my gown.  Every princess needs a trusted advisor or two, and Mr. Wyse, my free shoulder pet (also from Tayren’s Fantasy Fashions)  fit the bill perfectly.  He is just so cute, and is already fast friends with Ripley.  The best part in Ripley’s opinion…. he doesn’t care to munch on Ripley snacks!

More Boxes to Unpack…

I still have more packages to open and hunt prizes to sort through.  It almost looks like Christmas came early to my little homestead.  I think there’s a very good chance Ripley and I will be back soon with another Pixie gift or two.  Until my next post, happy shopping hunting!
