Ok, not really. But I am hanging out at the train station of the new Holiday Trace sim just because it’s so pretty and a great place to take photos. You really should pay it a visit, if only to enjoy a peaceful walk in the snow. 🙂

So, today I’m sharing this COMPLETE OUTFIT from Giulia Design.

The holidays are creeping up, and you know what that means…a lot of scrumptious food is on the way!  If I want to eat all the deliciousness, then there’s only one thing to do – work it out!

Leggings for Days

Perfect for a good workout session, the Acid Wash pants from Apple May Designs give a well-needed dose of style and function.  I found the leggings on the lucky boards, and with a bit of time and patience, finally they were mine! The Importance of Calling “Dibs”

Dibs – Plural noun  \ ˈdibz \  

The most powerful force  in the universe, “dibs” is used to call possession of a certain object or idea. “Dibs” is a time honored tradition to all, except one… I saw the “Prenzlau” Armchair & Side Table by Kusshon as I was looking at the previews of the Peace on Earth Hunt and I immediately called “dibs”. She looked at me as if I was speaking in a foreign language (which, technically, I was because she uses too many vowels in her words). I found the definition and pasted it into chat. It was like she couldn’t read it. She then rezzed the chair and said “Oh, do you mean THIS chair?” It’s funny how she remembers the story differently [HERE]. (Ok, the part about watching pretty blondes in spandex and capes was true) It was at that point I knew for certain that she either doesn’t understand “dibs” or just completely ignored it. My money is on ignoring me as she does that most the time anyhow…

And now, back to our regularly scheduled post…

The cat doesn’t sit on his lap. He CHOOSES to sit under the feline. He doesn’t light a cigar. The cigar spontaneously lights as it touches his lips. He is the most interesting man in the world (who believes in “dibs”). And what does the most interesting man in the world wear? The hunt officially starts tomorrow and everyone is as excited as a child on Christmas Eve holding a plate of cookies for Santa. Peace on Earth Hunt Preview: That’s My Chair

I have just one thing to say… “That’s my chair!”.

Here’s the story…

I was at home doing a little holiday decorating while he was sprawled out on the sofa watching Supergirl, half in and out of sleep.  I asked him if he wanted to help, but he declined with some kind of a completely committed head shake that oddly enough didn’t rattle his eyeballs off of the TV screen.  I really knew better than to try to compete with spandex and capes, but I thought I’d ask.

I continued on my merry way, humming jingle bells and rezzing out all of the holiday decor, and came across a really nice holiday printed chair by Kusshon for the Peace on Earth Hunt.  I rez it out with it’s cute little side table and before I could sit in it – HE yells “DIBS!” from the sofa.  Where did that even come from?  He was in “the dork zone”! “What?” I responded  and he says it again “DIBS!” as he flies across the room and sits in MY chair!  I nearly dropped my break-a-balls (that’s what I used to call the glass ball ornaments on the tree that I wasn’t allowed to place as a kid – Mom called them breakables but that’s not what my little ears heard and then it stuck).

This is really becoming a longer story than I wanted it to be, so here’s where it shortens up.  We fought furiously over the chair for 2 long days, until we realized that…  it’s copy and we can both have one. -.-  I rezzed one out for him too, but as you can see from the photo, he’s still a little grumpy-cat.  It will be a miracle if we can sit together in these chairs peacefully by Christmas Day.

Hello hello Fab Free’rs! Can you believe it’s nearly December?! It seems like just a little bit ago we were talking about Halloween and now Thanksgiving has come and gone. We have been having such mild weather where I live that it doesn’t feel like winter is on the way. Exxess

Speaking of cute and awesome, I think this hairstyle from Exxess definitely fits both categories. Not only is the snowflake headband super fun, it also has a color change hud with several preset colors to pick from. The hud also lets you change the color of the snowflakes and the band part of the headband separately. Also, this hairstyle from Exxess is animated! There is a “Breeze” version of this style that has a little movement to the hair which gives the illusion of wind. How do you get your copy of this playful winter hairstyle?
