Grateful for the Little Things

Hello Fabulouses!  There’s a jerky turkey running around SL, creating havoc, and  leaving orange feathers all over the place.  Ripley is determined to catch this guy, and I am along for the ride, scooping up hunt prizes as we go, for only 1L each.   It’s a great deal – all I have to do is follow the pup’s talented nose from sim to sim, hand out a few Ripley Snacks every now and then, and collect feathers.

Hoping to Find a Hunt Prize

It all started when we were at Hope’s Creations, trying to locate an elusive dollhouse for another hunt.  As we wandered from room to room in the shop, I urged Ripley, “Find it, Pal.  Find it!”  Suddenly, he got “that look” in his eye, and took off, nose to the ground, with me trailing along behind him.  He quickly reached his destination, and stood, wagging his tail wildly.  The only thing was, he didn’t find a dollhouse; he proudly pointed out … an old orange feather.  Slightly disappointed, but not wanting to offend the pup, I tossed him a reward, paid 1L, and picked up the feather.

I’m so glad I did, because an entire outfit was nestled inside the hunt object!  A warm, ribbed, under layer shirt, with three quarter length sleeves, a cropped sweater with the word “Grateful” written in multi-colored script across the front, and a skirt were all included.  Smiling at Ripley, I gladly slipped on the top and admired the textures.  I really enjoy the contrast between the darker cropped sweater and the creamy tone of the undershirt, and the message to be thankful was a timely reminder.  I was in the mood for comfy-casual for a day of miscellaneous errands, so I donned some bell bottom jeans instead of the skirt.  However, it is really cute, with a leafy design in coordinating tones to match the text printed on the shirt.  To add this adorable outfit to your inventory, teleport over to Hope’s Creations, and located the bright orange feather concealed in the shop, pay 1L, and the TJ Shirt and Skirt will be delivered right to your inventory.

We never did track down the dollhouse, so Ripley and I will hit the trail again tonight to see if we can ferret it out.  If not, I’m sure my boy will be raring to locate that gobbler at another store.  Until my next post, happy shopping hunting!
