Where the Wild Flowers Grow

Happy Saturday, Fabulouses!  I hope you have a wonderfully relaxing weekend!  Ripley and I started it off with a long walk in the woods at the beautiful Hobbiton Sim.  If you haven’t visited there, it’s well worth the trip.  The landscaping is beautifully done, and there are so many lovely spots to snap pictures, as well as places for dancing, chatting, and even some light-hearted role play.

Let Us Dance in The Sun With Wildflowers in Our Hair

For only 10L each, I created a casual and care free, bohemian summer look with a sweet top and denim micro mini from the Baci Shop stand at The Cart Wash.  The Babado top left my shoulders free to soak up some sun rays, and draped in soft folds to end above my waist.  Ric rac trim added a playful finishing touch to the bottom hemline.  Trendy and chic, a crop top is a summer wardrobe must-have, in my book.  Just in case white isn’t your style, the package includes a HUD with 80 choices so you can tint your Babado top to your liking.  The white hue of the shirt coordinated beautifully with my micro mini skirt.  The soft touch of lace trim helped tie together the outfit and added a romantic feel.

Playing off the bohemian vibe, I chose to wear a crown of daisies in my hair and held a bouquet of wildflowers for my photo, which I found at the La & Li Style shop on the Marketplace for only 35L.  A pretty, yellow, animated butterfly is included with the posies.  The cute little critter slowly flapped its wings, as it perched on a daisy.  If you’d like to wear a different hairstyle, an orchid for your hair is nestled inside the box for you to tuck in your tresses.

Uh Oh…

As I have been sitting here writing my post, some clods of dirt just sailed through the air at the edge of my vision. Ripley, tired of waiting for me to finish, wandered off and decided to do some excavating in a flowerbed at the Broadfoot Residence.  Oh dear, I’d better go see if I can repair the damages… I do hope we won’t be in too much trouble!  Until my next post, happy shopping!

  2. Such a gorgeous boho/country look! Out of curiosity, do the sleeves work well with AOs, since some sleeves you can’t alpha out that spot well on mesh bodies? It looks so good on you that I’m thinking about going back for that, but wanted to ask. Thanks for your hard work, as well as all of the other bloggers, and for the awesome information you share for us!

  3. Thank you so much for your kind words! I have a Vista Animations HUD and the top worked beautifully with it. It also worked with all of the poses that I tried out for my photo. I’d go back for this adorable top 🙂
