Well Hello again and Happy Friday Fab Free’rs! This week I’m happy to share with you a little about ZOZ. I’ve always liked that store name, ZOZ. I think it sounds like something mysterious and powerful. For those who are new to Second Life or simply haven’t encountered ZOZ before, it is one of Second Life’s top shops for your manicure and pedicure needs. ZOZ has been part of Second Life for as long as I can recall, which says saying a lot. I’ve been around forever! At the ZOZ main location you’ll find room after room of gorgeous nail appliers for just about every mesh hand out there. ZOZ also makes a set of nails. The ZOZ nails are fun in that they are much longer and shapelier than the nails you can achieve wearing mesh hands only. One of the unique things about shopping at ZOZ is you can purchase individual applier sets, rather than buying big pack of multiple appliers. Most (if not all) of the available appliers will work for both hands and feet.
At the ZOZ landing point, you’ll be instantly aware of the carefully cultivated atmosphere. In one word, ZOZ is posh! You’ll also find two awesome deals waiting right at the entrance. To the left you’ll find the most recent Saturday Sale offer, which is still available and will be for several days. This beautiful rose nail polish design is priced at just 75 lindens per applier type. Directly to the right you’ll find the most recent 60L Secret offer from ZOZ. Equally pretty, this nail polish set is just 60 lindens per applier type. Make sure you purchase the correct applier for your mesh hands or for you ZOZ nails. Also at the entrance, you’ll see a big pink sign with hearts. This sign is a big deal in that it announces the major sale going on at ZOZ. From now until February 14th the entire store is 50% off. This is huge! If you’re a long time fan of ZOZ like I am, or you’re new and want to try a few things out, this sale is one you won’t want to miss out on.
Finally, at the back of the main room just behind the information desk, you’ll find information about current events and store affiliations. To the left are event posters with information and group joiners. You’ll also find the exclusive Fabulously Free in SL group gift from ZOZ. This lovely gift has been blogged several times on the Fab Free blog, but was originally shown by Kathryn in her post here. To get this generous FREE gift you’ll of course need to wear your Fab Free group tag. Want to know what’s available at the Events before you teleport over? ZOZ has you covered there, to the right of the “Events” section, you’ll find “Event Items” where there’s a full display of the nail appliers available at each event. You can also get a landmark to each event by clicking the display photo. Needless to say if you have been neglecting your nails or if you’re nail applier addict, ZOZ is the store for you.
Well Hello Fab Free’rs, no matter what the groundhog says I’m pretty sure I can already smell spring. The weather however seems to have no idea what season it is nor which is coming! Spring is all over these group gifts I picked up at Dead Dollz and Imbue. While, I do love sweaters and sweater weather, I have to admit it does feel good to put on something meant for warm sunny days.
Dead Dollz Dress
This stunner of a red dress is the latest group gift from Dead Dollz. Though it only comes in a single size, the dress fit my Maitreya Lara body like a glove. Even with all the detailed edging and low points under the arms and down the back, this mesh dress moves well. The Dead Dollz group has a one time join fee of 250 lindens, which this dress alone is well worth in my opinion.
Imbue Shoulder Bag
I love the look of this bag from Imbue! The style of this cute mesh shoulder bag is such that it would match just about any outfit, whether you’re still sporting your winter fashion or you’ve started to dig out that spring wardrobe. I think the floral pattern is beautiful, and I even like how the fringe looks when your avatar moves. The Imbue group has a one time join fee of 99 lindens.
Hey there Fabulouses! It’s a long weekend for me, and I’m taking it easy with a cup of tea and some comfy attire to catching up on emails, skimming through gossip on facebook and pinning a bunch of crafty things that I’ll probably never actually do.
Pull Your Socks Up
Ok, I’ll admit it… I did steal another one of his shirts. What can I say – it’s so soft, and it still smells like him (sighs), but these adorable Lea Socks in both red and white versions are courtesy of C’est La Vie as they have just added them to the ever growing VIP group gift shelf. As a bonus, this group is free to join! These “love”ly little socks are compatible with system bodies and several different mesh bodies as shown on the vendor ad below.
Hope you have a super chill day too!

I thought I’d give singing a try… I do know both kinds of music, Country AND Western…. While I’m singing (screeching) my way to the Grand Ol’ Opry, let me tell you about what I’m wearing. I discovered Byrne has a new group gift out. The LalaLace Mens Pants are FREE to group members and The group is FREE to join. The pants come in both black and white designs and in sizes XS-XL. Past group gifts are also out for a small price. I picked up the Victor Coat for just $60L and the Miller Boots for $50L.
I’ve got a heart on…
…my guitar. The THUNK! Valentine Guitar is a FREE gift at the Shop Your Heart Out Event. It is adjustable to fit and comes with animations so you can play like a pro. Now if I could just sing like a pro instead of sounding like a wounded cat…
