Ready For Lift Off

I have to agree with Pru and Carson that something is just not right this week. I don’t know if it’s the weather, the moon, or what, but I’ve had a HECK of a week so far, and it’s not over yet!

To help get over my funky mood, Finnoula (my dog) and I headed over to the beautiful Winter Trace sim for a little fun in the snow. Turns out sledding is a lot harder than I thought, and I was so scared that I just closed my eyes and tried to hold on! Sadly, I wound up going so fast that I lost control and went flying through the air in a most ungraceful manner. Poor Finn couldn’t keep up (or kept her distance on purpose?) and didn’t care at all that I had completely humiliated myself with a face-plant at the bottom of the hill. She ran off to chase some deer, leaving me alone to pick myself up… along with my dignity! 😛

Coming in For a Landing

While I may not have landed on my feet, I was still glad to be wearing these awesome boots! Belle Epoque has set them out as a free gift at the current round of The Crossroads, and you can pick them up for 0L right across from the landing spot. They’re sized to fit Maitreya mesh bodies, and the detailing is really gorgeous. There are several other gifts available at this round of The Crossroads, 2 of which were shown here by Carson. 🙂

Moon Amore has put out this “lovely shirt” as a holiday gift for group members. It comes with a texture-change HUD that includes 8 different colors and is sized to fit Maitreya and Slink Physique mesh bodies. The group is only 30L to join, and past group gifts are still available for you to scoop up.

Last by not least, my choker is the latest group gift from CHAIN. Choose from silver or gold metal options with the included HUD. There’s no resizer, but you can edit > stretch to fit.

3-Step Winter Blues

Hi there FabFree!  It appears a few of us bloggers have got the blues this week and I have the blues too, but it’s more in the way of colour!  Blue is actually my favourite colour, so it pleases me that I found a handful of group gifts in the way of clothing, and furnishing items, all in blue shades.  I’ll be sending you on a three step journey below to get your blue on.  Get your teleporting shoes on!

Step One:

Uninspired

Ain’t no cure for the winter-time blues…

Some days the motivation just isn’t there. You don’t want to work, you don’t want to write, and you don’t want to do much of anything. It’s not because you’re lazy or from the lack of energy, it’s because there is just isn’t the inspiration to give you the creative spark needed. It could also be the season. The blah days of winter always get me down. Or perhaps, something shiny and new could be catching your attention distracting you from the task at hand. I know I’ve been distracted lately and haven’t been as creatively funny as I’d like. But enough of my ramblings, today’s outfit comes from PRISM for MEN.
