Before I begin, I’d just like to wish everyone a very happy New Year and that I hope you had a great one! As for myself, I’m pretty excited to continue my adventures in Second Life; who knows what kind of fun and freebies 2017 will bring! Even with the festivities behind us, I was still in the mood for bright colors and knitwear and was very pleased to see that the Fabulously Free in SL group gift by Marquesse Pret a Porter was a great mix of both. The Paige shirt was certainly a welcomed addition to my virtual wardrobe and not only for its vivid color (which is perfect for when you’re in the mood for color blocking by the way) but also for its fun and flirty design. Coming to a close

With the Winter Cart sale at the Wash coming to an end today, this is the last chance for you to pick up some goodies for yourself and your friend for just 10 L. I’ve recently purchased a new pair of Slink hands (finally something to cross off that bucket list) and thought that it was about time that I got a manicure. Pictured is the Diti Gold Omni set from La Boheme and the package includes a manicure set for Maitreya as well as a manicure and pedicure set for Slink and Omega.

I also stopped by the Lindy Modern and Retro Shoes cart at the Wash to pick up to pick up this gorgeous pair of boots. I own a similar pair in the real world and am always tickled when I get to dress the avatar in a similar fashion. You don’t need prim feet for this pair and the package includes a nifty alpha mask and shoe base to help with the fit.

I stumbled upon this cute little guy on the Marketplace and thought to include him in the picture because our outfits matched (lol). For just 0L you can get a Baby Polar Bear for yourself too at the Meli Imako Marketplace store. The bear itself comes in both standing and sitting positions (shown) as well as AO, UV, Normals, Specular maps and textures. Full disclosure, as I haven’t gotten into building in SL yet, I’ve no idea what all of those are but the polar bear is cute and I’ve always had a thing for keeping odd animals around the house…

Speaking of, with two cats, several owls and now this little guy, I’m going to have to find a place that sells kibble for them all. Until next time guys!
