Beautiful era

Such exciting times!

Looks like the FabFree Group Gift list is growing again and I hope you’ve wasted no time in reaping all of the generous offerings. For my part, I had fun hopping from store to store and now with everything unpacked and organized (whew!) I’ve come to share one of these gifts with you plus some other free and under 75L finds. If you aren’t a part of the FabFree group yet, get in on the fun by pasting the following link into the local chat of your SL viewer secondlife:///app/group/020fa7af-444d-f54f-01e2-557ec06315fd/about and then clicking on the link. Are you all set? Great! Cause I’m ready to share!

A spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down…

Hunting out great deals for all you lovely readers out there is not something that I would consider a chore but one look at the Tiffany dress from Belle Epoque immediately brought to mind this song from the Mary Poppins movie. Not only is the lovely lavender coloring reminiscent of candy floss, its hooped skirt and delicate lace detailing add a very feminine touch. The buttons on this dress are well-crafted, eye-catching details and I appreciate that they go right up to the dress’ high collar.  I haven’t had the chance to strike role playing off my bucket list but I imagine that this dress would be a good fit on a Steampunk or Victorian sim. The Tiffany dress comes in five standard mesh sizes (XXS-L) with an alpha layer included in the folder to help with the fitting. All you need to do to have this beautiful new addition to your wardrobe is to head on over to Belle Epoque, activate your Fabulously Free in SL group tag and click away. The dress is yours for free. While you’re there at Belle Epoque as they have other beautiful dresses with a vintage feel in their collection.

Step out in style!

I’ve paired off the Tiffany dress with boots (what else?) from Baby Monkey one of my favorite shoe stores. Sometimes it’s hard to find boots with both a relaxed and formal feel to them but I think that the Pixie boots manage to balance out these two facets really well with the studded detailing and low heel. What’s better is that the Pixie boots are made for both mesh and classic system feet. In the package, you will receive a pair for classic feet as well as pairs for Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink flat feet. An alpha layer and boot fitter are also included in the pack as well as an easy to use Hud which will help you modify the look and feet of your boots to your liking. The Pixie boots are just one of the group gifts available at Baby Monkey and there is a one-time fee of 20L to join.

Not so wicked witch…

It seems that I just can’t shake off dressing up for Halloween (lol)! Truth be told I wanted to wear one of my bunned up hairstyles for this picture but then tested out the Little Witch hairstyle from Ayashi at SaNaRae and the rest is history. There was no way I could resist this long and flowing hairstyle from its cute bangs to the well-detailed bows to the jaunty looking hat and I personally think that the style went well with the dress. If vibrant acid green isn’t your style, the Little Witch hair comes with a Hud that lets you choose from red or green shades in various tones. It also lets you customize the hat and bows and also has an option to hide the hat. The SaNaRae group is free to join so head on down to the latest round to pick up your gifts. If you’re still not convinced check out these posts {HERE} and {HERE} which showcase other gifts available for you.

An Ecko.

Last week you might have read one of Kat’s adventures with Ripley centering around the Ecko’s FabFree group gift, if you haven’t it’s {HERE}, and it got me really interested to see the store for myself. My visit reaped a couple of interesting discoveries and one of which is that Ecko is offering the Salor skin as a free subscriber group gift. I always love trying on new skins and this one with its unique tones did not disappoint. The Salor skin package comes in two classic skins with cleavage/no cleavage options as well as a hud for Belleza and an applier for Loud Mouth. There are other subscriber gifts available at the store so sign up and pack your wardrobe with goodies. While you’re there don’t forget to grab your Fabulously Free in SL group gift as well.

Giveaways!

I’ve been testing out different eyes lately and was pleasantly surprised to discover that Dulce Secrets has a giveaway for them. Shown in the picture are the Transcendental Sliver Pink eyes which you can get for free at the main store. The shine and reflection in these eyes are remarkable as is its subtle pink coloring. In the prize package, you will receive classic system eyes as well as mesh ones and an alpha layer. There is no group required to hit the giveaway boards so these beautiful pair of eyes are yours completely free!

And that wraps it up! Have fun in your explorations of Second Life and have a great day!
