The cushions are comfortable, there’s sushi on the table if you’re so inclined and please, don’t mind the knife… -ahem- Seeing as it is the haunting season, I couldn’t help but try to be just a little bit creepy. In all seriousness, though, I do have some treats for you today dear readers and if you’re ready to let’s go! First up is the brand new Fabulously Free in SL group gift by M0oH! Now, this store has long been on my bucket list of places to visit thanks to all the wonderful posts by Love, one such example {HERE}, and a free group gift proved to be a strong lure. As soon as I saw the notice I hurried down to the main store to get my grab on and I was not disappointed.

So what are the details?

The gift, dubbed the Thea Outfit, comes in five standard sizes (XXS-L) for both the cropped sweater and the skirt. You’ll also receive not one but three alpha layers to help you with the fitting, one for the top and skirt combined and the other two for each piece of clothing respectively. What I find really great about this outfit, aside from the fact that it’s very well made and that the way it’s textured is to die for, is that you’re given the option to keep the outfit intact or to wear it as separates. Just thinking of experimenting with different combinations gives me joy and more so when you take into consideration the fact that this outfit is completely free. More treats!

Hmm…lets go from the top down, shall we? The bat headband that I’m wearing in the picture is the newest group gift by C’est La Vie. Not only is it adorable and a great fit for the festive season, it comes with a pose and resize scripts as well, making it easy to edit. What’s more, permission is set to copy so you can make backups before you embark on any editing. The C’est La Vie group is free to join and you can pick up other group gifts while you’re there scooping up this one as well.

Do you love advent calendars? I’m certainly looking forward to Christmas time but Alice Project is giving you a little taste early. As part of their Halloween Massacre Special, you’ll be able to get one free hairstyle in fifteen special colors from the 25th to the 31st of this month. These gleefully macabre blood streaked hairstyles change out daily but don’t worry if you’ve missed one as you’ll be able to buy hair packs consisting of 5 tones for 50L if you want to complete your collection.

And ah yes, footwear. I’ve always had a weakness for quirkiness and boots and this pair from Wicked satisfies both those fancies. The Quinn heels (made for Slink high feet only) feature a wonderfully detailed lace up front and skull patterns so that you’ll stay in step with the season. Go to the Wicked store and hunt out a skeletal hand for just 1L or just buy the pair for 25L from the shopper’s option that has been set out. The shopper’s option prim is also a skeletal hand that’s placed near the hunt poster. The Jeepers Creepers hunt runs until the 31st of October.

Oh, but I’m not done yet!

Head on down to Trick or Treat Lane to peruse the variety of seasonal goodies from a number of merchants. While you’re there, don’t forget to snap up the free gift that the majority of these awesome designers have set out and you’ll find yourself with a bag full of accessories, furniture, and even skin! The one I’m wearing in the pictures above is called Berry, a gift from 7 Deadly s{K}ins that comes in the skin tone Dust. In the package, you’ll receive the system skin with cleavage/no cleavage options as well as Slink hand and feet appliers and Omega body appliers also with cleavage/no cleavage options. Between this and the Klaasje fantasy skin blogged {Here} also from 7 Deadly s{K}ins I might just go drow permanently. The Trick or Treat Lane event though lasts until the 1st of November.

Windows to the soul…

To complete the look are the Hazelnut eyes from Out of Orbit. I tend to go for blue or grey eyes so this was a nice and free change up. These eyes are part of the EnMashed in Fall hunt and aside from the system eyes, you’ll also receive mesh ones with an alpha layer and Huds for Genesis Heads and Heads that use the Omega system. Find the bat that’s hiding in the store and buy for 0L. The EnMashed in Fall hunt is running until the 15th of November.

Ready? Pose!

New types of hunts and games are always something that I look out for and the Hocus Pocus event that is running until the 4th of November was something that caught my attention. You’ll need to go to a participating merchant for the Hud, Elephante Poses is one such merchant, and once you get the teleport list visit the stores to find a magic bottle. Once found say hocus pocus in local chat (game is case sensitive so remember all small letters) and depending on your luck and some magic you may get the item for free. If you’re not so lucky (you’ll get one chance per 24 hours) but still fancy the prize, you can buy it for 50L. That’s what happened to me for this Psycho pose set from Elephante but since I do love the poses from this store and was so tickled by the little prop knife that’s included with the set I got it anyway.
