It is often the small things and simplest pleasures that make us smile. I think that is why I love this round up of gifts and treasures so much. Alone they are simple… but together they are stunning. And they made me smile. Did I need them to be beautiful? Nah… but I felt beautiful wearing them.

I think Charles Lamb would have approved of the reality woven by the gifts above. [Muse] is celebrating 1000 members with this resizable Evil Eye Choker gift (though there is nothing evil about this gorgeous gift) which you can pick up for FREE with your NSP Floral Group tag. There is a 75L group join fee, but the monthly gifts and goodies make it worthwhile.

Seeing my own reality through that eye, I knew I needed something special to go with it. And Salt & Pepper didn’t let me down. Their group gifts are usually jewelry, but this month the creator opted to give this sexy black romper called Kiara as the group gift. It is FREE with your group tag and comes in all the standard mesh sizes. Again there is a small join fee (100L) but like NSP Floral, the monthly gifts makes it worth it.

I finished off my adventure into my own reality with a spin on the 30L Julianne Shoes Gacha at Belle Epoque. These shoes fit medium high Slink feet and come in quite a few colors to match just about anything in your wardrobe. I love the strappy, open-toe style!

I wasn’t done with Belle Epoque this weekend, though, as you can see in the picture above. Sometimes you need to take a little time to stop and smell the flowers. And Belle Epoque‘s 30L Saturday offer is just the thing to remind us of all the beautiful and wonderful things in life that we often take for granted. Above, I am modeling the Imelda Dress in Pink (it comes in all the standard mesh sizes and 3 colors – each for only 30 L!) and there are matching shoes for each color as well! My necklace is a fantastic 1L Market place find by Cazimi Designs called Diantha Modern Girly Partial Set and was just the thing to set off this flowery dress. It came with earrings too (not shown). For 1L, the quality is hard to beat!

Need something more studious? Belle Epoque‘s creator outdid herself this weekend. Well known for medieval fantasy, this FREE group gift with your FREE group join called Eleanor has a vintage appeal that with a few of the right accessories takes on a contemplative look that is just right for vintage roleplay, a date night, or even just casual wear. It not only includes the skirt and jacket in all the standard mesh sizes, but you also get the resizable hat as well.

For a little added flair, I made my way upstairs to the Shoe Gachas again, this time trying my luck with the 30L Emily Shoe machine. A spin won me the pumps in Brown which turned out to be a perfect complement to the outfit. I also paired it with this Sunglass Necklace I found on the Marketplace from BricOle‘s Designs for only 20L.

On a final note, Belle Epoque‘s 30L offerings this weekend are incredibly generous and there really is something to make just about any shopper happy. Not only is the Imelda dress and matching shoes available this weekend, but you can also pick up the Berezia Dress in three colors for 30L each. I’m modeling it in the picture above in champagne.

And for those who love capes and hats but are (like me) distressed that you can almost never find hair to fit under them, this Berezia Cape from Belle Epoque in three matching colors with four hair color choices (again 30L each for this weekend only, so hurry) is the perfect solution. Like the dress, the cape is mesh, but comes in 3 standard sizes and fit perfectly with a fabulous ‘flow’ to it as you can see in the picture above — a great inventory “must have” for roleplayers… or anyone really!
