Hello my friends! I have been working my pixels off searching for awesome and unique Halloween-related items for men this year. I am starting off my October posts by showing you my favorite costume of the year so far: The Satyr from Siren’s Moon. The Satyrs were lustful, drunken woodland Gods. In short, my kind of deities! I considered researching Satyrs to fill this post with fascinating background information about them… but, why do that if I can make stuff up!?! For instance, did you know the Satyrs were not driven extinct because of acute liver problems related to alcoholism? You would think that, but after significant consideration, I came to the conclusion it was most likely due to stumbling drunkenly in the woods and choking to death on their pan flutes. At least I am pretty sure that’s how I would have gone had I been a Satyr.
Anyway, Siren’s Moon has made this excellent costume, a tribute to Greek mythology and the Satyrs, companions of Dionysus the Greek God of fertility and wine. The costume consists of a lower body alpha, a pants texture and beautifully done goat-influenced Satyr legs and tail. A laurel wreath and a set of horns provide the head with an authentic look. Together with a pan flute, this is quite an impressive hunt gift. So, if you are looking for a Halloween costume and want to stand out, this is a great pick up! For only 1L, it truly is a bargain.
