Here I go…Whooshhhh!

Hello fabulous ones! My weekend is being a little lazy, so I thought I would find some excitement in SL, and go sledding! How much fun is that! I grew up near a great sledding hill, so have a lot of fond memories of whooshing downhill on my toboggan.

My first step was to find a sled. That turned out to be way easier than I thought it would. I was wandering around the November Vintage Gacha event, which has a lot of gachas from other, older events, and low and behold, KEI Spot had a gacha with these wonderful, wearable snowflyers. Yes, I said wearable! For only L$30 a play, you will get a sled that can be used anywhere that allows scripts, even if you cannot rez things, because you wear it instead of putting it on the ground. Once attached, you click on the sled, and have your choice of 3 positions, the first picture I put up was the sit, and the last picture of my post is the tummy pose. There is also a straddle pose, which I did not show. Here’s a little hint, if you find the sled floating above the ground, try changing your shape’s hover. Oh, and how cute is the bunny that rides with you! The November Vintage Gacha event runs until the 29th, so don’t wait too long to check it out.

If you’ve ever been sledding, you know that your apparel is very, very important! You do not want to end up with frostbitten extremities. Trust me, I know from experience 😛 . I found some great boots to cover my tootsies, from Baby Monkey. The colour-changeable Szondi boots are one of their current free group gifts, you only have to join the group/wear your tag, and slap the board to get them, although it does ask you for L$1, don’t worry, it’s refunded. The group is L$250 to join, but this is one generous group, not to mention there are group only lucky boards you gain access to as well.

With  my toes covered, I then made sure my ears were. The current round of The Dressing Room Fusion just started, and you will find these super cute earmuffs there. They are from Buttery Toast, and are only L$55 per colour, with 3 colours to choose from. The band, bow and bead decorations are all colour change by hud, so you can make them work with almost any outfit you put together. They are the perfect finishing touch to a winter look.

Alrighty, I think I am ready to go. Although now that I am laying on my stomach, this hill looks a lot steeper than I thought! Wish me luck! Until next time, TTFN!
