My birthday lazy-day, in leather and pearls!

Howdy Fabulistas!! So, normally, I would be at my RL job right about now, on this dreary (for me) fall day. However, it is my RL birthday, and so I have taken today off! Since the RL weather is not very nice for myself, I thought I would find a pretty spot here in SL, and enjoy a good book, all while showing off a few goodies for all of you.

If you all recall, Tiana did a lovely post a while back about Ricielli’s current hunt, the Say Goodbye to the Old Store hunt, where she showed off a few of the prizes. When I saw that post, I ran right over to grab a few pieces for myself, and immediately fell in love with the purple leather jacket. I have to admit, I have been living in it for a few days now! The jacket is mesh, in all the standard sizes, as well as a fit mesh version, and it is materials enabled, so there is a great sheen to it. You can find this one in balloon #7, and, as with all of the prizes, it will set you back a totally reasonable L$15. I really love that with all of the Ricielli hunts, there is always a board with a picture of all the prizes, as well as their corresponding #, so if you can only pick out a few, you are sure to get exactly what you wanted.

The other goody I’ve got to show you is the current group gift from Maxi Gossamer. The Blood Pearl Daisy Necklace and matching Ring are available in store, free for group members, and the group is free to join. This was released just before Halloween, and it definately has a gothy/vampy feel to it, but as you can see, it can be worn with any look you like. Oh, and just a little extra tidbit of info, take a look around the store, as there is a 50% off sale on select items, happening right now. You can never have too much jewelry, right?
