While the lovely Tiana has been doing an awesome job showing off many of the goodies you can get from the Aloha Fair, I thought I would show you a few of the gacha items you can get from the fair. Also, how convenient is it that this months photo challenge of Hawaiian Luau is perfectly timed for the fair. Hmm…do you think it was planned that way? 😉
My first gacha prize is this gorgeous, long mesh dress from ArisAris. I was lucky, and on my first shot I got the Haway2 LongDress Rare, I just love the red colour in the leaf pattern. This is a mesh dress that comes in the standard sizes, and it fits like a dream! The ArisAris gacha is only L$50 a play, and all the patterns are lovely, so I would have been happy no matter which one I won.
Any female heading to a luau must have a flower behind her ear. Did you know that you are telling everyone if you are single or taken depending on which ear you put the flower behind? If you wear a flower behind your left ear, it means you are married, taken, have a significant other, or maybe you just don’t want anyone bothering you! If you wear a flower behind your right ear, it means you are single, available, and approachable. Now, I forgot which ear was which when taking my pictures…mine should be on the right side, doh! Either way though, my pretty pink hibiscus flowers are another gacha win, this time from Dew. This gacha is only L$30 a play, and they are so real looking, they will complete any Hawaiian look.
The only issue I have with long mesh dresses, you have trouble seeing the shoes, and I had to show you the ones I got from the Bliensen + MaiTai gacha. Upon hiking up my dress a little, I took a great close-up so you can see the fine details in the Ulua Sandals, red/brown starfish edition. Shhhh…they do not fit within the L$75 and under guidelines we follow, as they are L$77 a play, but I couldn’t help but show them to you, I’m sure you understand 🙂
One last thing before I go. I headed to the ALOHA HAWAII sim to take my pictures, and in wandering around, I found an area that looks like old rock ruins. There is a little box there, asking if you want to dance. If you click it and take a HUD, you can go anywhere on the Island and dance whenever you want (although, it will only work on the island, as I found out). In the World dance section, if you scroll a few pages, you will find a bunch of hula dances, specifically the ‘hula A’ dances. As you can see, I had a lot of fun dancing in my luau outfit. If I had a program to record myself, I would have taken a video and posted it for you all to see. Instead, I settled on several shots to give you an idea of the dance moves. Seriously, I had a blast.
Alright Fabbie’s, I hope you have enjoyed my submission for the FabFree Photo Challenge, I can’t wait to see what you all come up with in response 🙂 In honour of the theme, I will leave you with a Hawaiian goodbye. A hui kaua, malama pono. Which means ‘Until we meet again, take care, be right.’
