Well, I seem to not have turned into a Zombie! Yayy me! What better way to celebrate then to show you some wonderful things I have found!

I was looking through the latest list of SLF&O’s group gifts, and decided to head over to ECRU for their offering, the classy E C R U: “Brianne” Dress: Lime. I, of course, was just drawn to the vibrant green of the turtle neck top. This is a mesh dress and it comes in standard sizes XS up to XL. I will warn you though, I am a standard medium, but I had to wear the L, so make sure you try a size up if you find your usual size does not fit. This gift is free to SLF&O members, just make sure you put your tag on first.

While I was there, I noticed that ECRU was also participating in the current L$60 Weekend sale, what luck!  They chose their new release,  “Succumb” Stilettos for SLINK high, and are offering the  texture set 2 (of which I’ve included a shot of the HUD) for this sale, and, just in case you can’t make it over there tonight, they will stay at the L$60 price until July 25. Score! I just love the delicate chain detailing on these, so pretty. I know all you shoe lovers out there go crazy for an excellent deal!

Of course, I needed jewelry, or at least a necklace. I think a turtleneck always calls for a necklace of some kind. My luck was holding, as I headed over to ECCO, who has 2 gifts for SLF&O group members. One of which Pru showed you HERE, but the second one, was exactly what I needed. To celebrate the SLF&O group having 20K members, ECCO put out the Initial Necklaces as a free group gift and includes every letter of the alphabet. I of course, am wearing the C, and I think it goes perfectly with my outfit.

Feeling lazy this sunday with The Plastik!

Love Looks Not With The Eyes, But With The Mind

The weekend is winding down for me on this Sunday evening, so I thought I would show you a few amazing things to help ease you into a new week.

If you haven’t been to The Hair Fair yet then now is the time as it is much less crowded now the initial rush is over. Exile put their dollarbie gift out last night, which is a reason in itself to go over as this hair is just breathtaking. They have made a special pack of four colours expecially as their dollarbie for this event and the ends of the hair is a sparkling rainbow ombre! I may never take this hair off as I am so smitten with it! Plus it perfectly matches the adorable Unicorn Clutch that I found when taking a wander over to The Dreamers Factory event. If you join the event group for free, you can claim the little swag bag of gifts nearby which contains this clutch bag and two sweet necklaces that I will show in a future post!

Soooo.. about this gorgeous hair ~ laughs ~ I know, I know.. Im going to be obsessed about it for a while. But as Im back on the subject, here is a picture of the three other colours in the package.

Ok, I promise I will talk about the other things now! IKON have a new Group Gift for July with the release of their Immortal Eyes range. Their gift is a set from this range in a striking green colour. These eyes are perfect for that otherworldly feel and I can imagine I will be using them a lot in the future! The IKON group is free to join!

As you may have noticed from my other posts, I have quite a love for flowery head bands and crowns, so I was thrilled when I stopped by The Secret Affair event. The theme for this event is Medieval Masquerade with a hint of A Midsummer Nights Dream and there are so many beautiful things to swoon over. The Rose String Crown that I am wearing in the picture is one of the rare prizes from the ieQED gacha but there are several different styles to play for!

Why is it that I seem to be drawn to sims where I get attacked? This time, it was Zombies…again!

Uh Oh….I guess I better get this post finished, just in case I end up turning into a Zombie myself.

As you can see, if I do turn into a Zombie right now, I will be a pretty dang cool looking one! This is all thanks to the newest round of The OMG Room, Hair Fair, and Mock Cosmetics.

First up, my rock & roll inspired outfit from the newest round of The OMG Room, that just started. The GAIA ROCK HORROR SHOW COMPLET OUTFIT  is a L$1 gift from Brii Underground, and it has a bunch of stuff included in it, although I am only wearing a few of the pieces. The mesh shorts and mesh jacket/bra top combo come in the standard sizes. You will get a lovely shine with the jacket as it is materials enabled, and check out the great skull texture on the back in the next picture. The other pieces I am wearing that are included with this outfit is the kinda scary tattoo on my belly, as well as the gothic looking skull necklace. What I am not wearing from this is a pair of knee-high black mesh boots, a skull ring, a makeup layer which has eyeshadow and lipstick, and a second tattoo that is on the thighs. That tattoo is not pg, just a warning 😛

To me, other than the crazy long hair all guys in rock bands in the 80’s had, nothing says rock more to me for hair than a mohawk, and lucky for me, Adoness has put out the asteria in plumify as a L$1 gift for the Hair Fair. This is a partial rigged mesh hairstyle, which is so convenient. You can modify the upper part of the hair to your heart’s content, while the long tail down the back is perfectly rigged to move with your av. It also comes with the bloom shaved hairbase, which I absolutely love The link I’ve provided is a direct TP to their shop at Hair Fair.

My last addition, while maybe not rock so much, is funky enough that it works. It is my lipstick that is a recent group gift from Mock Cosmetics. The [mock] Vitrail Lip Glass – Skittles comes with 3 versions of intensity, I am wearing the 2, which is the darkest. I love that Mock makeup layers are slightly translucent, so they are meant to work with your skins lips, not just be a solid layer over top of them, it means they look slightly different on everyone. The gift is free, but the group does have a L$250 join fee, but with as many gifts as I have received from this group, it is worth it.

Alright, I guess I better go lay down or something, wait and see if I turn. I sure hope not, there are way too many freebies and goodies in SL that I still have to show you all…..and I really don’t want to turn out like this guy.

Country Girl

Hello Fab Free’ers! I’ve missed you! For the past week I’ve been out of town, getting a little work done and visiting family that lives too far away for me to visit often. I have to say it was a nice trip, but I’m really glad to be home. One thing that always amazes me about going back to small towns like the one I live in now and the one my family has always lived in, somehow, it always feels homey. It doesn’t matter how long I am away, how big the city I live in is, I’m always a small town country girl on the inside.

That said, the city girl in me loves the new SLF&O gifts from CandyMetal and Shoenique! The mesh dress from CandyMetal has a chic sexy feel to it. The dress is fully mesh, and I have to say both the pattern and the shading of the dress texture is lovely. I think it could easily go from a work environment, to an early dinner date. The dress also includes a matching mesh hat. The hat is very cute on, even though I chose to re-position it so that I could be holding it in my pictures. The Shoenique SLF&O gift couldn’t have been more perfect, these pointed-toe shoes are a real statement with the dress from CandyMetal. Also, just as a side note, these shoes do not require Slink feet. Now that I have my outfit all picked out, remember that little ramble I went on about taking the girl out of the country but not the country out of the girl? Well, that is why I chose this serene out-door setting for my main photo. I feel like a country girl all dressed up in her city-girl finest!
