FabFree now hosts Semi-Monthly Photo Challenges! On the 1st and 15th of each month a new challenge will be released. It was initially intended to challenge us FabFree bloggers and add a little fun to our posts, however it was suggested to me that we open it up and allow the whole grid to participate!
Here’s how it works:
1. Create a photo inworld based on the theme that is posted here at FabFree on the 1st of the month and the 15th of the month.
2. Upload your photo to the FabFree Photo Challenge Flickr Pool by the challenge end date… In this case – January 31st, 2014.
3. Leave a comment on the challenge post with a link to your flickr photo (and blog post if you wish).
4. On the last day of the challenge, a winner will be chosen by our staff of bloggers and will be featured on the blog as “The FabFree Photo Challenge Champion”.
Rules:
1. Your photo must contain one absolutely free item.
2. Please keep your photos family friendly (eg. no naughty bits displayed).
3. You may enter as many times as you like.
4. Most of all – have fun, and don’t be afraid to enter. Everyone from photography levels are welcome to participate.

I am having trouble figuring out how to post for the contest…when i go to add the photo I get a message saying I cant…We can’t add that to the group because it’s either already in the group, is in too many groups, or doesn’t follow the rules of this group…Im sure it’s me and I am doing something wrong 🙂

That is very odd… I can’t think of any reason why that would happen. If you copy the URL to the photo you are trying to submit, I can invite it to the group and see if that helps 🙂

Nilia, I tried to invite your photo into the flickr pool, however it is marked as an unsafe photo (even though you are fully dressed lol) which is why you can’t put it into the pool. You need to change the safety setting, then it should be ok to add to the pool.

I tried and tried again…it says i am already set at safe level….I also checked to allow it to be shared and I still get the same message LOve… so I have no idea whats wrong. I know my photostream is set on safe level

Hi @Nillia – I changed the rules of the group to accept photos marked “moderate” for safety level. You should be able to add your photo now. In the future, when you upload your photo to Flickr, scroll down under your photo to where it says “Additional Info” and click on (show more). Towards the bottom, you can change the safety level by clicking “edit.” Your account must have been marked as “moderate” under safety level by Flickr. I will try Serena but my pics are all marked safe not moderate….I even double checked them to make sure….but i have been having internet problems so maybe that has something to do with it too…. I will go in and check and see if it works …Thank you!!
