Une Bonne Femme

If I could go back in time, I would love to head back to the Victorian period and try on some of those great dresses. But since I don’t have a time machine, at least I can try on some fabulous Victorian dresses in SL, instead! Like this one, for instance: Une Bonne Femme (A Good Woman) which is the autumn group gift from Montagne Noire. I love all the details, especially the hat and the big bow on the bustle. 🙂

My earrings have been shown bunches of times before by various FabFree bloggers including myself, but are worth another look. They’re part of a gorgeous set by Dark Mouse that you can find as a gift at FabFree Headquarters. I Like Big Bows And I Can Not Lie

Yes, it’s true… I have a thing for big bows!  I have seen a huge response to the new Phat Azzes lol, but what about the bows?   They don’t get nearly the attention they deserve.  Have you guys seen the new group  gift at =MODA=?  It has a most excellent bow on it!

After joining the free inworld =MODA= group you gain access to their Alice Vintage Bow Dress which is a gorgeous mesh design with a very versatile HUD that allows for 5 dress textures, two choices for bow colours and two choices for netting, so really, it’s like a bazillion dresses.  The combinations are endless!  I snapped a quick screencap of the hud so that you can see all of the options below. Supporting The SPCA of Navarra 5L At A Time

Hey Hey Fabulouses!  It’s time for me to start playing catch up 😉  I have been itching to get online and show you some things!  Today I took a trip down to The Autumn Market Fair, which is an event with over 40 stores participating and it benefits such a wonderful cause!   Each designer is displaying:

I managed to pick up several of the 5L items today and felt good about it with 100% of the donations going to the SPCA of Navarra to help abandoned and suffering animals.  I’ll probably have more of the event to show you soon, but today, I am wearing the Stunning Special Edition Eyes from I.D (mesh and non mesh versions), the A&C Sweet-Baby Lace Top, and the DEW Houndstooth Flats which were all 5L each at the AMF.

My long knotted hair is the latest group gift at (red) Mint (free to join!), and my skin is also a free gift called Aria/Pale which I have previously shown, but is still available at Lara Hurley in case you missed it (also free to join)!

I also picked up this fun Neko Pose Set for 5L on the PSYCHO.Bits display at the AMF that includes 5 static poses and also a pose stand.

I have a few great freebies and cheapies to show you guys today from the Fashion’s story fair and the marketplace!

First up my shirt is a gift set out for you at the Fashion’s story fair from Pull. It also comes with shorts which I decided not to wear. If you want a little more info about the fair as well as how you can get involved in the hunt, take a gander at Care’s post here where she tells you how the hunt works and what you’re looking for! You’ll need it because my hat which was also shown by Care in that post is one of the 5L$ items laid out at the hidden dressing room location!

These intricate glasses are free believe it or not! AIR‘s store on the marketplace has a ton of ornate and pretty glasses and sunglasses for sale but these little beauties are a freebie. It even comes with colour change options so you can change the colour of the lenses to match your outfit! The gorgeously made little wings on the stalks really make this a great value steal.

Friday Guy Day: Falling Into Autumn

Happy Friday! Today I bring you gifts from the Falling Into Autumn Hunt. All gifts are 0L, and the hunt lasts until October 21, 2013.

First up is my awesome mesh sweater, which is the FIAH gift from [American Bazaar]. Let me tell you, the knit textures are on this one are amazing. Next, my shoes are the FIAH gift from Shoenique Designs; there is also a pair of ladies boots in the box. My eyes are the group gift from IKON (already shown by Serena and Xanthe), and are still available! My jeans are not free, but are a new release from FATEwear. They’re Materials Enhanced, and come in 3 different “hip heights” so you can wear them as high or low as you like. 😎

Linealrise Morning, Noon, and Night

Recently I noticed some chatter in the Fab Free group in world, and I decided to go check it out.  Linealrise has some lovely mesh group gifts out for the ladies right now (and there’s one for the guys too!) that will carry you from the morning on through the evening! The Linealrise group is free to join, and they have a Midnight Mania board open to group members. The first little number I was able to pick up is a sexy black satin nightgown with a faint delicate red floral pattern down the front. The second gift I found is a sweet blue lace dress that reminded me of something you might wear to go have lunch with the girls! It’s sweet and classy without being too formal for daytime. Last, but certainly not least I picked up this sassy little dress called “Written” that has a pattern similar to a hand-written letter, and the best part, there are matching shoes! Perfect for date night!

I have two fabulous gifties for you wonderful people today! Sakide has a couple of new midnight mania boards out which you and your friends can slap.
