Vintage Love

I came across a “new to me” store today called Ivalde. This store is full of dishy vintage styled women’s clothing and offers several gifts, such as the one I am wearing.  This is the most recent group gift that includes the high waisted denim Jeanny shorts and Zaira White Top with the sweet cotton eyelet print.  The Ivalde group is free to join.

When I saw this necklace Pepper was offering for Lazy Sunday, I knew I had to have it.  Had my name written all over it actually (bad joke lmao.. sorry!).  This necklace is not free, but is just 70L.

Mamboo Chic has a new gift for it’s group members called Felicia. This skin is so soft, and sweet – I love the way Mamboo Chic skins look so natural and shiny.  The group is 300L to join, but I wanted this skin anyways and I am sure there will be future gifts ahead!  You have to join the group and check the notices for the gift.  I better get started on my letter to Linden Labs right now – I’m gonna need more group spaces!!

  1. I appreciate your blog post but come on girl, this is FabFree and you’ve never heard about Ivalde? Ivalde is parte of SL fashion history and if you only hit the search button on this site you would of found LOTS of posts about Ivalde.
Things that make me go hmmmm…..

  2. Hi Tyra, thank you for your comments. Yes, I am not sure how this gem slipped by me – her designs are quite lovely! I just did a search on FabFree and the last post I see is on March 5th, 2010 (unless search engine is acting up for me) which is just shortly before I started reading Fabfree – so that may be why. I hope that my post is new to some, so they too can be aware of Ivalde and her wonderful fashions.

  3. Your joking? Ivalde has been on the sl fashion scene for yonks. I find it hard to believe you’ve only just found it. Just search ‘retro fashion’ and it pops up.

Search it on ANY blog and you’ll find tons of posts =/

  4. Yay for more group spaces! How did we ever manage before with 20? Or was it 21? Who knew that 42 wouldn’t be enough to join (and keep!) all the wonderful fashion groups out there!

  5. Lisa, I am not disputing the fact that Ivalde is well known. She has been around for some time – I can see from her group gift wall and her beautiful designs show experience. Every SL designer I have heard of is or was new to me at some point in time. While there are residents in SL who have been around for years and are aware of the designers such as Ivalde, there are also many many newer residents who they will be new to or maybe even an old resident like myself who just missed it. At any rate… I am happy to have found Ivalde and am thankful for the opportunity to share her latest group gift on FabFree.

Boo, good to hear from you again! I have no idea how we ever managed with 20 groups.. the 40 doesn’t seem like near enough anymore! LMAO
