b[ELLE]issima has their latest group gift available to its members. The Bagpiper Uniform is a full costume from your head to your toes. It is very authentic in its styling and makes me wish I had bagpipes to blow.
It’s Saturday night, time to pull out the formal wear and twirl on the floor with someone special! Below are a couple of really fabulous gowns perfect for an evening of romance. Even if you head out alone, you won’t be on the side lines by yourself for long!
The first gown I have to share with you is the stunning August group gift from Sascha’s Designs. The group is 50L to join, but as blogged before, there are years worth of group gifts to pick up – so 50L will be like it never happened! This mermaid cut gown has the most brilliant shimmery texture that is sure to have all eyes on you.
The second ever so classy gown to share with you is this elegant beauty called Sophisticat and is a gift of the week from House of Beningborough. You have to act fast with the gifts of the week from House of Beningborough as they change them often!
As we all know MESH is coming, and coming fast. Curious Kitties has a MESH dress out for free. The only catch is you have to be on a MESH viewer AND be on a MESH enabled sim. Curious Kitties Gothic Fuzz on Cutie Land is a MESH enabled sim. BTW, That is where you pick this dress up.
.
Curious Kitties – Dragon Dress – Darkness is the MESH dress. I did a little experimenting and found out I couldn’t edit the dress at all. No up, down or stretch, I’m assuming this is because it is a MESH and not a prim. It’s a gorgeous embossed satin dress, all one piece. It does have a shirt and panty layers along with an alpha layer to hide the middle of your avie. I’m excited for MESH to get here.
.
This is what the Dragon dress looks like on a non- MESH sim. It’s a prim and can be edited. I hope MESH hurries up and gets here. It frees up a lot of attachment points so you don’t have to remember to “add” instead of wear. *rolls eyes* I always forget that. Notice the difference in the hair also, its the same hair. The top is on the MESH enabled viewer, the bottom is on Phoenix.
The viewer I used is LL’s Secondlife MESH project viewer that can be found by going to the download page then to alternate viewers page.
I went shopping around yesterday and found a few goodies perfect for a night out on the town! Please excuse my grainy pictures – I have switched veiwers and am struggling to find just the right settings all over again lol.
Look #1:
Hair Softens has a new group gift for its members. The group is 100L to join, but they do have two group gifts up and change them every few weeks. I have picked up quite a few cute styles as group gifts over the past few months. This month’s group gift is called Lily and comes with the beautiful flower band.
The fuschia dress in the photo below is from Red Passion and is a dollarbie in their store. By the looks of it, they will replace it next week – so if you want this dress, you better go quick! You’ll have to join the group to take advantage of this 1L deal, but the group is free.
As I was snooping around in Jadore’s area at Mimi’s Choice, I noticed that there was a free gift on the floor just across the aisle from Tattanooga. I love when freebies just fall in my lap! Tattanooga has a free gift for men and women. The women’s gift is the great eyelash tattoo I am wearing in the photo below.
