Simply Fabulous Free and Under L$75 Finds in Second Life – Since 2007

Hair Fair 2011 Recap

All of the gifts have now been shown sim by sim, on the Fabulously Free in SL Blog.  Hair Fair 2011 began July 2nd and ends July 15th.  This year ALL hairstyles at Hair Fair will be donation hairstyles, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the Wigs for Kids charity.  Wigs for Kids is a not-for-profit organization providing hair replacement solutions for children affected by chemotherapy, alopecia, burns and other medical conditions.  The free gifts have ALL been shown and as I said there will be many reviews of many of the full price styles offered at Hair Fair 2011 on FabFree, because it’s for charity and I love new hair!  Every year there’s always a nasty comment or two about the non-free hair shown from Hair Fair.  These are donation hair styles going to a charity close to my heart.  So don’t be a Grinchy Scrooge in comments.  There’s TONS of free and cheap hair all over Hair Fair!

The following blog entries show all the gifts from each sim:

  1. I recommend joining the demo group and trying the hair before visiting the fair. I found 9 great hairs to buy, one of which was a 90% donation (that’s paying it forward, for sure). The free goodies are great also (although I haven’t had a chance to open all of them yet). I de-primmed and de-scripted, and flew around the sims easily. Loved the beach theme, also. Thanks, Renee, for taking the time to seek out the goodies and blogging them. Oh, and I got a great bandana, too! 😀

  2. your very welcome. Hopefully by blogging the gifts it saves a little time too. This way you can presort the gifts into keep, maybe, and trash.
