I decided to discover America this holiday weekend. And there’s no better place to start than where many got their first glimpse of this country. The Statue of Liberty is an impressive build on the Magic Folsom sim. And best of all, there’s no admission fee.
I climbed to the top and walked around the torch. I’m glad there was an invisible walkway and wall so I didn’t fall. And I’m decked out in style with the July group gift from b[ELLE]issma!.This huge gift includes Dark Red Leather Pants in three styles (regular, worn and , distressed) Red Ankle Boots, 4th of July Tee, a Top Hat that lights up, and Galen Skin. That’s a TON of gifts. Even if you aren’t a member, the $10L joining fee is worth it.
Yehaww! I had so much fun putting these free and nearly items together 🙂
The cute hairstyle with the hat that I found in a lucky letter board at Heart Softens started it all and I just went with it! The top I am wearing is from Rock Me Amadeus and comes in a fatpack of several colours and layers for 1L. They are sheer on their own, or you can layer one on top of the other for more coverage. I found a Wild Print Necklace on Marketplace that is absolutely perfect with this outfit for free and the skirt was blogged previously by me in the Such a Sassy Girl post.
The boots are a group gift from Koko, which is free to join!
Vinyl Cafe has a smokin hot freebie out for group members right now called Rhianna and there is no group fee! I matched it up with the Bishwear Windy Hair which is currently free in their store (previously blogged by Renee and still available!), a pair of vintage stockings from Cilian’gel (0L) at their 1920’s Store, a pair of Vinyl Cafe Vixen Heels (Dollarbie of the Day – so hurry! 1L), and a colour change ring from Pepper which is on the front counter for 5L!
Here are some more goodies I have fund on the Nature Hunt. These are too good not to share. I love being a mermaid at times and here’s all you need to become one.
.
My Green Texas Cichild mermaids outfit is from Kotori. It even includes a mermaid AO!

I’m shipwrecked under the sea thanks to Shabby Tabby.
Renee Lowenhart has lost her mind! Someone’s gotta be saying that because she somehow let me spill out of my blog, A Passion for Virtual Fashion, into hers as a guest blogger. That’s because I have found some fantastic FabFree kinda content that I wanted to share with her and she let ME blog it. Beware who you let guest blog, Renee 😉
I was so thrilled to find some of the bargains on the Fountainhead sim among a group of creators in TRIAD TOWN. I IM’d Renee to tell her about these fantastic outfits for women and men and then said, let me show your readers! So here is a sampling of a few outfits I picked up from IZUMIYA for 25L each, including the shoes, accessories, and jewelry. (With all the sculpties and work on these, it’s a great bargain.) In addition, a glance upstairs at the store showed several free things for women AND men including poses (some of which I show here), a men’s suit, dress, accessories, and jewelry.
My skins are the 10L offerings from Essence this week in celebration of their 1st anniversary. Honestly, it’s quite a deal. For 80L, you can snatch up the entire line in one skin tone and have a darn nice fat pack.
The hair was another find on the Fountainhead sim at AY.LinE. Click the little box near the front counter and this fat pack is yours. It includes a color change scarf and is modifiable for size. Could you ask for any more?
Chrysalis has a new Group Gift out today. It’s sexy and elegant enough for an evening at the theater. I added my Dark Mouse vintage pearl necklace and earrings from FabFree Headquarter’s. I stopped off at COCO & CO and found so many gifts lying around on the floor and tables. One of the gifts contained the triple pearl bracelets.
One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer. It’s closing time. There are several hunts ending today, but one that is still taking place is the Burnt Like a Firecracker Hunt. This hunt runs until July 20th, so you still have plenty of time to find some great gifts. New York’s Finest Apparel has the Black Leather Pants and Untucked Shirt as their hunt gift.
The leather pants from NYF look great with the Men’s Sculpted Leather Jacket that can be found at BioWear.
The leather jacket has an eagle emblazoned on the back.
Bartender, set me up one more round. And turn down the lights.
Marcy at Wilson’s Closet has a festive Fourth of July Dress out for us ladies in celebration of USA Independence Day! This is a group gift, and it is a zero linden join up! Head on down there and grab yours before it’s gone!
Match your stripes and stars up with these Patriotic Flip Flops from Unique Clothing! They are prim, with a hud that allows you to change skin colour and toes. This is a group gift (free to join).
My new name for Wilson’s Designs For Men is the Land of the Free. There have been so many free gifts given to group members this past month, that my closet is bursting at the seams. With July just around the corner, (where DID June go?) it’s time for the July group gift. The Grey Linen Slacks Black Shirt is a nice summer casual dress look that will turn heads.
And with the Independence Day just a few short days away, Wilson’s has made not one, but TWO holiday group gifts.
The Freebird Outfit Comes with jeans and a jacket with an American flag and an eagle on the back.
Or choose the Land of the Free Outfit with a scantily clad female holding a flag.

Morea has an MM board I didn’t know about until today. I clicked and midnight SLT I received this classy and seductive little black dress. I checked and it’s on the MM board again today, so go click it, you’ll be glad you did.
Where oh where is my dance partner this evening? Wilson’s Closet has a lovely new group gift in store for us! The group is free to join, so it’s a whopping 0L! It’s a floor length gown in such a pretty shade of teal with a very feminine lace top. I had compliments as I was taking photos, so you can bet your dance card will be full wearing this stunner 🙂 Thank you Marcy from Wilson’s Closet for this great gift!
