I feel as awesome as a newly bloomed blossom ✿

I’m getting cabin fever. Do you ever get absolutely sick of looking at the same things in your home over and over again? That’s what is happening to me. It’s time for a change, and I’m thinking old-fashioned charm is the route I’m going to take this time. A friend of mine has an adorable little home, and I inspected it to find out who made it, which lead me to Awesome Blossom. Shall I go on? Of course I shall!

The first thing I did when I arrived was joined the Subscribe-o-matic. As a gift for joining, I got this adorable little bird house. You can change the colors to show blue, green, or yellow, and it’s also copyable and modifiable. I’m a sucker for birds. If it chirps, I’m in love. Granted, these birds don’t chirp, but a girl can pretend, right? If my next home in SL has a front porch, this is most definitely going to be hung up. 😀

Just inside the door is a gacha machine stuffed with cute little prizes. “Ophelia… I’m only $25L a pop… c’mon, you know you want to try your luck…” it cackled. “Oh curse you, evil cuteness! I cannot resist!” I bemoaned. Two seconds and $25L later, I scored myself a rare prize! This Write Stuff Mouth Chalkboard is neat because you can “write” on it via local chat. Tell someone you love them, (or, less than love them perhaps) share a favorite quote, write a mathematical formula, whatever you want up to 45 characters. As I walked around the store, I thought I’d do a little advertising 😉

This store is adorable, and I want to buy everything there, but alas, I was not graced with an unlimited linden budget. Remember how I mentioned my mother was nagging me in my head the other day? Well darn it now my father is doing the same thing. I hear him saying to me “pinch your pennies and make everything count.” GRRRR… *sighs* I don’t want to, but in my case, he’s right. (Thanks a lot, dad…) I decided to pick just one thing to buy, and being very picky, especially when I’m limited, I was stumped. My eyes were drawn to two cute posters that I thought would go well with the ideas I have for a new home. Price check… $0L!!! That can’t be right… price check again… $0L!!! I was giddy. Both posters are free. Hastily I scooped them up and glanced left and right with shifty eyes, like a burglar about to make off with stolen loot.

Was I spotted? I don’t think so…
