Emo-helloween Hunt

The Emo-helloween hunt begins today, October 28th and ends November 1st.  This hunt covers all 3 Emo-tions sims, VALHAL , Hells End and HAIR ONLY.  There are 50 tiny pumpkins in total to find.  Participants include house of rfyre, chained, fierce, thrashers, metal gear, raw ink, mias gems, NIrvana, daesigns, endless pain tattoos, needful things, razorblade jacket, VIRUS, ali couture, MH design, EMO-tions.  Mirja sent me a sneak peak of some of the EMO-tions gifts to show you all and they are amazing!

Odds and Ends Wednesday

Graffitiwear has some new goodies this week.  The blue Lullaby Lady nightie is in the midnight mania board at Graffitiwear.  Only 25 slaps needed to lock this board.  The yellow Teddy Bear nightie is in the lucky board at Graffitiwear.  The thick No.55 glasses are in the group lucky chair at December.  The Flor knee high socks came in a fatpack from MIEL.  The socks are still available in the subscriber history along with many more gifts.

The Halloween tank and Boo necklace were recently sent to the [TRS] sub-o members.  B&T Fashionland has the black Fall jeans in the dollarbie Cute Ghost hunt.  You can see the other prizes in the Cute Ghost Hunt post.

The black Halloween Femme hair is a gift at CheerNo.  For the men there are two Halloween Ollie skins in the CheerNo entrance.

All my retro friends

When I first came to SL over five years ago there were a few already big names as designers.. these designers have been the mainstay of SL since then. Some have rebranded, others have left and come back with new ventures. Anyone who is familiar with the brand Mischief since back in the day will be familiar with Janie Marlow’s gorgeous work. She decided after all those years with the Mischief brand that she needed a new direction and the fruits of her labour have been recently released with her new store Jane!

If you pop over there right now there is a limited set of fatpacks for the next 24 hours. One is a fatpack of 3 t-shirts for 50L and the other is this gorgeous suit for 50L. You can find some really low priced amazing seperates here so it is well worth taking a look around. Trust me you will not be disapointed in anything you buy. Janies work is amazing.

Another name that has always been a mainstay of SL is Elikapeka Tiramisu and she was the creative force behind EDT Hair and Clothing. Renee broke the news that she was back making hair a few days ago in her post. Her new store called Elikatira. The hair I am wearing in these pictures are all from her new collection. Though the style I am wearing is not free, there is a freebie fatpack out at the front of the store that Renee blogged here.

Murder at Skull Creek

Someone killed Dick!!!  ‘Owner of :. WoE .: and long-time Skull Creek resident, Dick Wiesel, has been killed tragically in an ‘accidental’ homemade fireworks explosion.  His partner, Ryker Beck, insists it was no accident and is begging someone to solve the murder and find out who killed her partner.’  Head over to the sheriff’s office and grab the Skull Creek Detective’s notebook from the desk.  Then collect all 50 items and talk to the 12 residence.  One of them killed Dick (WoE designer/FabFree mod).  Once the notebook is completed, pick up the prison keys at the sheriff’s office and confront the murderer!!!  There are prizes from Exodi, WoE, Frooti, *Dreams*, [ LuNi ], !BANG, Vanitas Vesture, *~*HopScotch*~*, [Baustein], *SMUDGE*, Fear Factory, [S]uavage, and !AVANT.

In Joi’s House

A few weeks ago a reader suggested I head over to House of Joi and pick up the group gifts to show everyone.  What a great tip cause these gowns are beautiful!  The October gift for House of Joi members is the chocolate Autumn Fantasy evening gown.  The September Sunset pink gown is also still available for House of Joi members.

While at House of Joi pick up the free gifts in the entrance area.  There is a black and orange Happy Halloween dress perfect for the season and the purple Mickey dress.  The Halloween mouth attachments are only L$25 each at .:it’s Cake:.!  The black SoHo boots are a past sub-o gift from Maitreya.  I’m not sure if these are still available, but its worth checking!  The Pia Leggings are a past gift from MichaMi.

TIK TOK, Elika’s Back!

A week doesn’t go by without someone mentioning how much they miss ETD hair.  Well, dry up those tears cause Elikapeka has rebranded and is back making amazing hair!  The Say ponytail is a gift at [elikatira] and comes in a huge fatpack of colors!  While you’re there be sure to join the sub-o group so you don’t miss anything!  The tan Rita skin is a gift at TIK TOK for group members.  This skin has a light pink glossy lip and hot pink eyeliner on the upper lip.  The tiny pumpkin earrings are a gift at EarthStones just in time for Halloween.  While there slap the midnight mania board for more jewelry!

Paris Metro has the Kiss of the Spider Woman 2010 evening gown available for a limited time.  I’m not sure how long this gown will be available so grab it while you can.
