  1. I just want to make a comment about that more and more groups are asking for a 1 time enrollment fee and am wondering why ?
If you dont have alot of money your missing out on great free clothing and thats what you need in the first place if you dont have the funds.
Wouldnt it be better to ask a linden for the things that your setting out as a freebee.
1 linden is what most ppl can find somehow but say 100 linden or more is diffecult for alot.
I do understand that the goodies that you get then are worth the enrollment fee but lets think about those who cant affort it.
That why fabfree is so wonderful for sl :)You can so many things for free at the store inworld and i thank the designers for their generosity :).

  2. Group owners charge enrollment fees for many reasons. The enrollment fee might be in place because they want to ensure the group members stay in the group. Also, a group fee cuts down on chat spam. The designer might want to place a fee because then it limits the gifts to users who do have lindens and will actually spend money in their stores.

  3. hi Liberty,

I understand your point and I am glad you do find other great stuff through our blog and HQ.
Renee explains it well why designers would/could charge a fee, and I agree with her answer!

Thank you for your comment and keep reading the blog!
