Answer to Odd Accusations

Today I received an odd comment on my blog about voting for the JIRA SVC-676. The comment basically accused me of stealing because of the picture in the top right of the blog. The picture that is located on the top right of my blog is part of the “girl in green” theme by Stacey Leung and is part of the WordPress free theme selections which automatically gives credit to the designer on the bottom right of the blog. So surely, they did not mean this picture. This only left the small button I made to support the cause located on the top left. Luckily, I quick search on my computer found the original .psd file for something so small and insignificant. To be on the safe side, I am also posting proof that the other picture is part of the WordPress theme pack.

Here are the pictures that prove the top right picture is from WordPress: (click them to see full size)

Wordpress ProofCredit Given to Stacey Leung on the FabFree Website

Here is the proof that I made the button on the top left:

  2. You know maybe- I saw some advertisement inworld that used the same sillouhette image (oh god sorry i cannot spell) that is in this theme so I wonder if that is the reference this person is/was trying to make (but epic failure). Either way it wouldn’t be your problem, this is a theme and you credited the theme…what more can you do? I wish I had a better memory- I’ll try to not do so much pot in college next lifetime. 😉

Anyhoo- sorry you had to deal with this- wtf is people’s problems? Maybe it’s wise to ask a friend to doublecheck in the future- unless you hang with dumbasses. Then one cannot be helped.

  6. People will complain about anything if you give them half a chance. When I created my own blog I was surprised to find the green girl as a theme – I’d come to associate her with you! You keep doing your good work and don’t pay those silly people any attention.

  8. I’m glad you thwarted that one, ladies.
I’m also very very glad you didn’t go with the “simplicity” theme. Far too dusty closet for us!
Keep up the good work, y’all!

  11. So sorry that you are the one who has to provide proof instead of the smartass who dared to blame you because he/she/it was obviously too retarded to read, think and have a common sense.
