Hodge Podge – Avatars Who Care

Hodge Podge Variety has a new feature this month in their magazine called Avatars Who Care. It is a special list to honor those who do a lot of great things in Second Life giving recognition to those who work hard to make SL a better place. They plan to do this list on a yearly basis.

Why am I telling you all this?

In this current issue #4 pages 48-51, I have been named as one of the Avatars Who Care for this first go-around along with Maelstrom Baphomet, Chino Yalin, Rom Ireton, Investment Education Team, Kirsten Corleone, Thinkerer Melville, Travis Lambert, Camryn Baxter, and Dragger Allen. I picked up a tip from FlaranChamenti Rau – thank you! – and found a lot of surprising stuff at TOPAZ SQUARE. A bit utopian as the pictured Chrom Techie Outfit or the golden outfit with roller skates but also casual as the Berry Sweet (red, blue) or the black Midnight Butterfly Outfits. There is a lot more (bangles, cyber flight attachment, men´s wear) as I can show here, so at your landingpoint fly high on the top floor. Boxes are located against the east glass wall, all for free.

Silent Sparrow has the Hair Solution

This is the first part of a new feature that we are going to be covering on Lucky Chairs. Over the past year, Lucky Chairs have changed greatly because of resellers and the advent of the wonder chair. There are now multiple chairs all over the grid filled with freebies that you can pick up at any freebie store. Cassini Creations has part of the answer with the Lucky Chair HUD which only contains locations of chairs that have the designer’s own items in them due to Gwendolyn Cassini and tips from HUD users to constantly update the chair list. You can pick up the HUD at their store located inside the doorway to the left or at the FabFree HQ on the left shelving located second from the top. Another option is the PopFuzz Lucky Chair Station which is a board that displays the letter, prize, and location of the chairs from original content as well.

Silent Sparrow had blogged about their sale going on and I headed over because I adore their textures. I happened to get lucky and the chair was on C. I won this richly textured outfit that was screaming to be worn and showed off.

This outfit went perfectly with the new $1L hair from Hair Solutions. This new style is called Eleanor and it comes in 45 different colors. The hair for the ad is currently located just inside the entrance at the center of the New Release display.
