Is there anything as mysterious, demure and feminine as a kimono? I for one love all the Japanese sims and creators in SL, specially since I don’t get to wear these things in RL. Many of them are kind enough to put up amazing freebies in their shops, case in point these lovely kimonos. Make sure to take the time to explore the area after getting the items, the architecture is really lovely and you never know what other goodies you might find. When I went to get the two kimonos from Japanese Goods Shop, I found he has male ones, samurai shoes, katanas, sake, a cute tiny avatar, and a feather that lets you reach any altitude. *Note: for the Japanese Goods Shop kimonos, you need to go to both locations to get the different versions, one takes you directly to the spot, while the other you need to use the teleporter and then cross the bridge. At Orchid Dreams the yukata also includes a cute pair of color change slip on shoes which are a great addition to any wardrobe. The others include traditional zouri or waraji shoes so the outfits are complete except for hair and skin, but those are easy to find as well. Enjoy and don’t forget to say “Arigato!” to the designers.
