You have looked around SL and figured out that you do not want the photosourced look but instead are more of a cosplayer and want that anime look. Well, you are in luck because there is a store that has everything to get your started and it is all free. SugarCube has everything that a cosplayer would need to get started in Second Life from shape to skins to clothes. So hold onto your extraordinary large eyes and take a step into the world of Anime.
There is a newbie starter kit(located inside on the right wall) that has 3 skins, 2 pairs of eyes, 1 wig, 1 pair of shoes, 1 pair of jeans, 1 t-shirt and 1 shape. The skins are all very pale in color with the light tan(really a soft creamy color) being the darkest. There are brown and blue eyes to go with the hair that is a medium brown color. The shape is very tiny with an itty bitty waist as well. The shape is not for those looking for a realistic one. To get a comparison on how the skins look on a regular shape, I will show one close up of my usual shape with the skin on. Next to newbie pack box is a freebie hair kit with the same hair inside even though it has a different name. So save yourself the time and don’t bother with this box.
Outside in front of the shop are several other freebies, mostly clothing, that would go great with any avatar. The sandals are the soda bubble tee are both inside the newbie kit so you can skip these as well. The skinny jeans from the kits are also there but they come with a tank top so you might be interested in grabbing another pair. The other items are a ugly duckling outfit and two other shirt boxes(a flower tank and a kitten tee). If you are into photosourced clothing then you might want to skip these freebies because all of the items are handpainted.
