There’s A Somnia Freebie @ The Wash Cart Sale!
The Cart Sale at The Wash Sim ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t made time to head down there and check out for yourself what is there, make sure you do it quick!
Today I am wearing some really cute pieces that can be found on the Somnia Cart for just 10L, and one of them is even a free gift! The Knit Mess and Knit Mini (both mesh), are 10L each, and the cream coloured leggings with lace trim are in the prim heart sitting on the edge of the cart as a free gift for everyone!
As you can see from the photos below of the cart, there are many great mesh and non mesh designs to pick up, some in fatpacks of several colours for just 10L. I think the Harmonic Fusion Top is pretty sweet too.
I talked with Second Life resident, “Jane” today at the Wash Cart Sale. Yes… She’s a little shy about using her name, and that’s ok! She was having a slow day i SL, and thought she would visit the Wash Sim to see what was new. It really couldn’t have been a better time with the big sale going on! She hadn’t had a chance to look at all the carts yet, when I found her, but I can quote her saying “Some are pretty sweet!”.

Drip Dropping All Over My Ipad!
I must be looking forward to spring, because that’s two days in a row I am doing pictures in the rain! My look today is a bit of a mix of some Fashion Gallery finds as well as some freebies, in fact.. I think the only thing I paid more than 70L for was my hair, but Edith is worth every penny!
The inspiration for this outfit was definitely a trip to Acid Lily to check out this round of goodies, where I found the mesh .:SS:. Womens Vest & Belly Ts priced at just 65L in several solid and printed variations. I also snagged these way too cool low heeled, laced up Amsterdam Mesh Boots in the shade of midnight made by Moyaz at Acid Lily for 70L.
A skip and a jump on over to The Dressing Room Fusion is where you’ll find the Essences Thursday Chic skin, available in three skin tones, priced at just 70L per skin tone. It includes three brow colours and also some make up blush tattoos.
These Destroyed Light Jeans can be found on the SD Cart at The Wash Cart Sale for one more week, priced at 10L.
After I had all these great things put together, I could see I was in need of some accessories! I checked out the Kosh marketplace store and they have a free Ribbon Necklace that is texture change, and unisex, so I picked that up, and then TPed on over to Icon where FabFree reader Whimsy S. mentioned that they had some super cute Ipads for free! These are available without a group join or subscribo, just buy for 0L

B!asta @ The Wash Cart Sale
Yesterday I showed the Dotted Tights that you can find on the B!asta cart at The Wash Sale, but there are plenty of fantastic designs to snag for just 10L, and there is even a free gift! The ripped denim shorts and tank top I am wearing in the photo above is called “Sugar For My Honey” and is a free gift for YOU!
This morning I was down at the Wash and was talking with Wym Binder, six year resident of Second Life who was just returning from a two year break, only to find out that all of her clothes are outdated. Mesh was non-existant the last time she was active, so she was at The Wash Cart sale filling her inventory up with some new designs at a fraction of their regular cost.

A Cynful Shop-aholic
I hope you guys can forgive me but I have a whole lot of UNfree stuff to show tonight and I think I am feeling extra wordy, because this turned out to be really long :/. I was so excited about these awesome finds, that I put a blog together with them in case anyone else was interested in these goodies. I do however have three items that are 10L and that’s almost free! I guess the only way to go about this is to start at the top and work my way down.. so here we go!
My super sweet hair is a Truth style called Video Games and is currently being sold as a gacha prize at the Arcade Gacha Event. It is 100L per try and there are tons of great colours / headband choices. It took me a few tries to get the blonde I was after, but hey – these are transfer, so I can gift the others or trade!
The skin I am in today is a Dressing Room Fusion find. I am wearing Al Vulo’s Ramona Magic that is available in three skin tones for just 70L per tone. The skin includes blonde and dark eyebrow choices as well as cleavage option, and Lola Appliers. These eyes are also included in the pack in both regular and mesh versions. What a steal!
I have shown this necklace before, but I am finding that it just goes with so many different outfit styles! You can find the Cross Necklace, made by R+a on marketplace for 10L. I am SO excited about this Novel-ty Bag made by [POSH] and also available on Marketplace for 10L. This one in particular was 10L, although there is another book available in their store for free – it just didn’t match my outfit as well, but I picked it up too for future use!
You can find this gorgeous rigged mesh Long Shirt & Vest at the Cynful shop featured exclusively at The Whore Couture Fair, available in several colours. You can wear them together or separate and Tango appliers are included. The Dotted Tights I am wearing can be found in a three pack including black, white and red on the B!asta Cart at The Wash Cart Sale for 10L.
These Must Have Boots, really are Must Have Boots! They are available at The Dressing Room Fusion in a fatpack of five colours (shown below) for just 100L – thats 20L a pair!!

1 Hundred @ The Wash Cart Sale
Hey Fabulouses! I’m back to share another cart at The Wash Cart Sale! Today I am featuring the 1 Hundred cart, where you will find six sexy cute dresses priced at 10L each, 2 mesh tops priced at 10L each and the Heatwave Top in white for only 5L. In the photo above, I am wearing the Friday Night Dress in Nude which has been a favourite of mine in my inventory for some time now. I just love the shimmery texture!
I spoke with Second Life resident Zarah Ragu who was really enjoying herself at the sale and had just bought up the whole 1 Hundred cart. While this was her first cart sale, I am pretty confident it won’t be her last. She had just arrived when I found her, but she was excited by all the various designers that were participating in the sale. Zarah says “I absolutely LOVE 1Hundred!“.
As I was grabbing the slurl for the cart to finish up this post, I spotted a Mr. A Drake strolling down the sidewalk and thought it would be interesting to hear a man’s perspective on the cart sale. He had been to previous sales, and comes back because as he says “I like some of the designers here, and they put great stuff up for sale.“. He then added “And to pick up chicks.”. I do believe he was kidding, but I wished him luck just in case. The Wash sim is packed with a ton of very friendly people, so I can see how it would be a great place to hang out and meet new people while you are doing a little shopping.

Sn@tching Up Great Deals @ The Wash Cart Sale
It’s a busy Monday morning on The Wash Sim @ The Cart Sale! The streets are flooded with shoppers looking for great deals, and freebies too! On the Sn@tch cart, I noticed that there were some really great outfits, like the Sequin & Velvet set I snagged for 10L shown above (includes the velvet plum pants & mesh sequin blouse), but also a free gift! The Wash Duffel Bag is free to everyone, so make sure you swing by and grab it!
I wasn’t the only one sn@tching up everything on this cart lol, FabFree reader of 5 years, Athena M. was jut as guilty, and had picked up the whole cart too as Ivey is one of her favourite designers in Second Life. Athena has been attending the Cart Sales for three years now, and returns to each event because there are quite a few designers she likes that participate in this event, it’s a great place to find new ones, and a wonderful place to find great bargains. She also adds “I do like that you can find items that are no copy/transfer so I do some gift shopping here as well.”.

Aeva / / Heartsick @ The Wash Cart Sale
Another trip down to the Cart Sale @ The Wash today, and this time I picked up Aeva // Heartsick’s Faith ~ 2 // Okami skin that is available in 6 skin tones for 10L each. This skin is also available in a petite version to be applied to Yabu Petite mesh avatars. What a stunning skin this is, and has inspired me to go to the mainstore and try a demo of the new Faith line!
While I was down there doing some shopping I met Raine Shilling, who is an avid FabFree reader and describes herself as a shape shifter, a vampire, a DJ, a goof off, and a RPer here in SL. Raine was a very beautiful human avatar when I met her, however she wasn’t kidding when she said she shape shifts often, she proved it with a photo of her in a giant dragon avatar! She has a very eclectic wardrobe, snatching items from the carts, left and right as they catch her eye and returns to the cart sales whenever they are running because she loves that she can find such great things. She adds “You can’t beat the prices!“.

Amour Fashion & Rispetto Design @ The Wash Cart Sale
The Cart Sale down at The Wash Sim is still going strong and there are some really great items to be found, all priced under 10L each. Today, I am featuring the Amour Fashion & Rispetto Designs Cart where you will find both mens and women’s fashions. In the photo above I am displaying my favourite item from the women’s fashions, which is the Talia Mesh Crop Top, available in three different colours at 10L each! Such a sexy cut
I pulled Kai out of my inventory to show you a couple of very handsome Love Trill approved items from this cart that are must haves in a male inventory! The Logoro Jeans are mesh and are a very nice design with stitching detail and creases in all the right places. Kai is also wearing the Disegno Sweater that couldn’t match any better with these jeans. Guys, this is a great outfit that is easy to put together and just 10L a piece!
While I was down at the Cart Sale I spoke with Second Life Resident of 5 years, Seaskye Ember who was taking her time and inspecting the cart contents closely looking for things she might like. Seaskye has been to two previous Cart Sales, so this is her third visit and claims, “I love a sale and it is a chance to try new designers without spending a lot of lindens.”.

Masoom @ The Wash Cart Sale
Have you had a chance to check out The Wash’s Cart Sale yet? Today I am featuring the Masoom Cart. This cart contains tons of goodies all priced at 10L in the way of dresses, outfits, sweaters, and more! Some are mesh, some are non-mesh. There are even a couple of pose packs available.
My favourite item on the cart… and trust me, it was not easy to choose, because I really like a few of the items, but if I have to choose – it is the Leo Outfit in Platinum shown in the top photo. I’m a sucker for partial mesh designs and this is no exception with a non mesh top that allows your personal curves to shine through and a mesh skirt that allows realistic movement.
I also wanted to mention these FANTASTIC sparkly shoes! These are not at the Wash Cart Sale and are not free, but they are located at the Acid Lily Fashion Gallery this week for 70L per pair. These are the Oz Pumps, made by even.flow and are available in several colours. This particular pair is called Tin Man.

While you guys get to hear what I think about the Cart Sales all the time, I thought it would be fun to hear what you have to say about them. I headed down there this afternoon and met several wonderful people, including Tigrezz Shamrock, who is a five year resident of Second Life. She has been a faithful FabFree reader since 2009 when a friend had passed her the URL. This was not Tigrezz’s first Cart Sale at the Wash and she can’t wait for the next one. ”It is one place to come and see all these designers without going over budget especially the mesh“, our shopaholic says.
