Adoness Snowflake Hunt

Adoness is hosting an instore Snowflake Hunt which runs until February 10th, 2013, which gives you plenty of time to head down to the mainstore and hunt for 10  hidden snowflakes ranging from 1L – 10L.  Hidden in the snowflake icons you will find prizes such as the Nyxi mesh dresses in both frost and blizzard I am displaying above and below…
As well as the mesh Empusa Corsets in both icicle and snow.  The playful Fae nails in Icerink, snowflake collars and earrings are also hunt prizes.

There are  more sweet prizes to be found – the ad below displays all of the prizes numbered for easy hunting!

Catching Snowflakes

You are going to want to grab a coffee and a couple of cookies or something because this has turned out to be quite a long post, and put on a pair of runners too because I’ll have you running from one side of SL to the other.  I have some freebies to share and some great deals mixed in too, so bare with me while I go on and on about all this fun stuff!

I’ll start with the outfit I am wearing  The mesh Paisley Blouse and mesh Bow Pants are made by Even.flow and are featured at Acid Lily this week at the special prices of 65-69L.  I picked up these cute S.S Mesh Woolie Booties at Acid Lily this week also for just 70L.  All three items are available in several colours.

The lovely skin I am in today is a free Peace On Earth Hunt 5 prize from Rockberry called Skyler POE5 and includes several skintones with options as well as freckles.  Another POEH5 prize I am wearing is the Callie Cline Eternal Peace Ring which is stone colour changeable with a click!  When you are hunting for these items – you should be looking for a globe icon.

You can find the Skura! Egg Hair priced at 0L in a sweet shade of blonde in a new ball at Analog Dog on the beach past the sale section, along with the following styles shown below. Some are previous freebies, and some are new.

Tres Beau In Paris Metro

FabFree reader, and first-rate freebie finder extrordinaire Arabella Luminos sent me a notecard to let me know that Paris Metro Couture had some unbelievable gifts at their mainstore.  I went down there to check it out this morning and it turns out they had 5 gifts that I could see including one hidden at the Flawless Harvest Sale & Hunt.  Of course by the time I got all of my pictures done lol, the first two gifts were no longer available  Sorry, but the other three still are!

Shown above is the Artist Series JudyLynn Gown, and in the photo below, the Artist Series Toy Soldier Gown.  You won’t be able to take advantage of these gorgeous gifts, but it’s a heads up to keep an eye out for gifts just outside the Art Gallery, as they do pop up from time to time.  I already had the photos done, so I figured I may as well show them anyways lol.

The Petale jewelry set shown with the gowns is a free Runway Perfect Hunt prize from Tres Beau.  It includes the choker, earrings, two bracelets and also a ring.  This hunt ends today, so you’ll need to be quick if you want to snag these!

Shown below you will see the Scribble Gown in Wheat.  You can find this wonderful gift on the third floor sitting on top of the desk.

Watch Your Head!

Kyle and I are ready for Halloween are you?

Whether you are male or female in Second Life you will be set for a halloween costume if you head down to Allusions and locate their Trick Or Treat Trail Hunt icon (which is a black crow).  The hunt gift includes a gift for both men and women and they make a great couples halloween costume if you are looking for something matchy.  In the mens box you’ll find a pair of black slouched boots, the pumpkin head with alpha layer, bloody hatchet and veined tattoos.  The jeans are not included.   In the women’s box you will find the same items with the addition of the black mini dress and stockings shown on my avatar.

A Cabin Retreat – Falling Leaves Hunt

Need a little cabin getaway?  I have put this rustic sneak away spot together for free with a few of the Falling Leaves Hunt prizes.  You can click on the photo above to see the larger photo in my flickr photostream if you’d like to see the items a little closer up!  The Autumn Cabin Retreat is made by By Nacht and includes the cabin, autumn tree and also some really nice animated furnishings for inside the cabin.  Pestique is the maker of the Autumn Duet tree stumps on the porch.  It seats two and has a few sit animations including the guitar as shown.  Beside the leaf pile on the other side of the porch you will see a Glowing Pumpkin Candle which can be found at Bayview Market.  No cabin would be complete without a water well (or a wishing well you might call it), and that is exactly what you will find at Incendia as their Falling Leaves Hunt Gift.  The decorative Autumn Plant and Pumpkins sitting just in front of the well is the hunt gift from FD Decor.

The Nature’s Hunt Tropical Nights

The Nature’s Hunt Tropical Nights runs from July 29 – August 31. The starting point is Sacred Flames Weddings . I love this hunt, it always has a lot of really nice gifts in it. Here is the first 15 gifts. Please pay no attention to some of the pictures, SL decided to eat my setting about mid way thru and I didn’t notice till I had already logged off.

Fire Beach Designs @ Sacred Flames Weddings – Garden Wicker Set. This set includes 2 wicker chairs, end table, foot stool and plant . I love the little birdies on the table and stool.

Casa De Zen = Sunset Surrounds Me Chair. This set actually includes 3 chairs and table, all with 3 sits in them, the table has one sit in it. Each pillow has a sit in them.

Miss Darcy! - Tropical Sunset Dress. I love this dress, it isn’t as bright as it looks in the picture, and it comes with a cocktail to drink. I really needed that cocktail after I saw the setting had changed.

Loka Design - Bangles and rings. I didn’t have to do much adjusting on these and I’m very surprised, I always have to stretch and adjust.

This One Time At The Fair… ~ Part 3

I’m still at the fair and I’ve seen a lot of crazy things so far… including a clown costume …but since I know a few people who are afraid of them, I’ll spare you. This hunt is almost over for me but I’ll be starting a new hunt right after! I’ve had a few problems with the hunt items so for those of you who are having them too, here is the site with the hints (and names of stores incase you need to search for the next location).

The 44th item is an outfit from ;;; CERO STYLE ;;;

The 47th item is the Perfect Petal dress from ~HoX~ which probably isn’t something you’d wear everyday but it caught my eye.

What fair would be complete without performers? Brat!, the 48th location, offers a sexy Fair Performer outfit.

EnLightened offers a cute carousel music box that spins along with playing music.

-MySelf- offers a unisex turtleneck sweater and since I’m ready for the summer heat to leave, I hope this inspires autumn to come back.

The next is an outfit with a dress and top hat with sandals from D.Ragged which makes me think of fair or carnival just by looking at it (and I think that hat looks pretty snazzy on my bald head, if you ask me).

And finally, we have a dress from .:Furore:. which I think could be dressed up and down easily and is classy but still whimsical enough for the fair.

You may be wondering where my hair went in this post and I will admit that I lost my wig… in support of Wigs For Kids. Wigs for kids is a charity organization that donates wigs to children and adults who lose their hair due to medical conditions. It was started by Jeffery Paul who was a well known hairdresser whose life took a different turn when his 15 year old niece was diagnosed with leukemia.
