Putting the Fine in Finesmith

If for whatever reason you missed, Love’s FabFree Designer of The Day post on April 26th regarding Finesmith, then I am here to remind you to visit the store. This fierce take no prisoners pink and spiked jewelry set is everything with the earrings, necklace, and bracelet!  Now I don’t mind piecing together different jewelry pieces, but I love it when I can just slip on an entire set and know it will seamlessly go together! I actually first went to the store to retrieve the April gift, pictured below, and a few days later they had the May gift was out! Actually to be quiet honest, they have a series of group gifts available, just ready for the taking! Even better, the group is free to join! I know its a battle to manage which 42 groups to keep on your list, but I can tell you, that Finesmith has stayed on my group list for a very long time. The quality and detail of their jewelry is amazing, and the fact that a little piece of their creativity is released each month is just purely wonderful.

The April gift comes with the earrings, necklace, and collar as separate pieces. What I like about that is, if I don’t want such an extravagant look, I can choose not to wear the collar piece while just sporting the other two items.

B!asta @ The Wash Cart Sale

Stunning Dresses By Lexi

My Rez-Day is around the corner and I am having my own little dinner party so I have been desperately looking for a nice formal dress that will make me shine on my day. Well Dresses by Lexi may be the answer to what I have been looking for!

These three dress are only a few of what they have available. Starting from the left, is the past group gift from July (which is still available) called Venus Sunrise . The shoulder piece is optional, and add the extra touch of elegance. The middle dress is the October group gift appropriately titled Entice. Accessorizing with Earth Bangles!

Whew!!!! I know there are so many hunts going on right now, and here I am adding one more to your list. Do you forgive me? Here, let me sweeten the pot, this hunt is also free and doesn’t require any group joining. Also, the hunt is all in one store, with 11 items to find. This hunt is called the Orange Hunt at Earth Bangles, and it ends on November 7th, so you definitely want to make your way on over soon enough. It really shouldn’t take you more than 15 minutes are so to find all the oranges and increase your options on accessories. With all that said, lets take a gander at some of the things I found.

Lets check out the orange flats and ankle warmers, the flats and warmers are package together but you do not have to wear them at the same time. I love wearing heels just as much as the next fashionista but I had to give the balls of my feet a break before I end up with blisters. I can definitely rock these flats for a simple day hanging out with the family.

Moving up from the shoes the next thing is the purse, bracelets, and rings. The rings come for each hand and the same goes for the bracelets. If you click on the picture you can notice that the ring is a nice burnt orange colored flower, while the bracelet is a sweetly shaped heart.

Then we have this oh so cute tear drop pendant necklace that adds some fabulosity to a very simple outfit.

Lastly, are these earring that I feel in love with, because of its simplicity and the green leaves at the center.

Sometimes its the accessories that makes the outfit, and partaking in the Earth Bangles Hunt, you can pull together a really nice fall look with all their goodies.

Star Gazing with Pixel Creations

You know whats just as fun as dressing up, decorating your home! I definitely love free furniture as much as I love free clothes because I enjoy revamping my house. So I would like to thank Pixel Creations for their free goodies at their mainstore.

The telescope called SPY’S DAYDREAM is item from the Shaken Not Stirred free hunt, and can be found in Pixel Creations store. This would be perfect for that empty space on your balcony or out front. Enjoy laying down and star gazing on the texture changing rug, or in my case, looking at the Daffodil framed mirror on the wall, a lucky chair gift from within the store.

The Bambo Coffee Table is a group gift, and comes with the wine bottle and glasses all in one. The Mosaic Thai Vase, a freebie, is something I added on top of the table for flair.

Last Minute Halloween Treats

Oh-My-Lanta, Its officially Halloween! I hope all of you have your costumes and are ready to do your own version of the thriller dance at what ever party you are attending today. I just wanted to provide you with some Halloween goodies that you can add to your decorations, costume, and something you can wear in the wee hours of the morning as you return home.

First, the !-[Love Factory] has a free Spellcaster (Skull and Scroll) and Happy Halloween sign. So if your halloween venue still needs a sign, here you go!

Next Prim & Pixel has this fancy Fuschia Duffle Coat for free, when you go to the store, head towards the back room. The Fuschia Duffle Coat is the only free one. I definitely like the animal print on the pockets, perhaps because I like things on the wild side. “Oh look at the cute panda!” Oh yea, it is cute until she sneaks into your inventory and renames all of your stuff! Now, I couldn’t just come on here and tell you about all these goodies without showing you a couple more of their items. I’m not that evil, I just dressed up as an Evil Panda momentarily. And I assure you, not a single inventory was harmed in the process of making this post.

The first costume, perhaps one I had way too much fun taking picture of, is Vero Modero Cat Woman. This costume is pure sexiness, poured out of a big bottle of sexy. The best thing about it is, regardless of your shape, it will fit you perfectly because the entire costume is one makeup layer!

I went ahead and accessorized the costume with some jewelry to characterize Cat Woman’s obsession of expensive jewels.

Currently Love has a great post for a nurse costume titled Hold Still Mr. Beckett…, but if you want a gruesome look, Vero Modero has you covered with their Kanli Nurse costume. The blood splatter and bloody hand print are all apart of the look, and if I ever walked into a hospital with a nurse looking like this, I’d slowly ease my way out and fix myself.

Lastly, if you just enjoy freaking people out. Trying popping in on someone with one of these face masks on, which are makeup layers. The mask are so creepy, my mom demanded that I immediately remove it because it was going to give her nightmares. Being the good daughter that I am, I left it on for 10 more minutes.

This One Time At The Fair… ~ Part 3

I’m still at the fair and I’ve seen a lot of crazy things so far… including a clown costume …but since I know a few people who are afraid of them, I’ll spare you. This hunt is almost over for me but I’ll be starting a new hunt right after! I’ve had a few problems with the hunt items so for those of you who are having them too, here is the site with the hints (and names of stores incase you need to search for the next location).

The 47th item is the Perfect Petal dress from ~HoX~ which probably isn’t something you’d wear everyday but it caught my eye.

-MySelf- offers a unisex turtleneck sweater and since I’m ready for the summer heat to leave, I hope this inspires autumn to come back.

The next is an outfit with a dress and top hat with sandals from D.Ragged which makes me think of fair or carnival just by looking at it (and I think that hat looks pretty snazzy on my bald head, if you ask me).

Wigs for kids is a charity organization that donates wigs to children and adults who lose their hair due to medical conditions. It was started by Jeffery Paul who was a well known hairdresser whose life took a different turn when his 15 year old niece was diagnosed with leukemia.
