Sascha’s, Big and Small

If I were wearing this dress in real life, I’m certain that I would not be prancing through a meadow with deer. However, when I’m taking photos with my RL daughter hanging over my shoulder yelling, “Mommy, Mommy, DEER! Take a picture of the deer! You HAVE to take a picture of yourself with the deer,” then you take a picture of yourself with the deer. So… here we are. Me. And deer.

And a gorgeous gown from Sascha’s Designs! Sascha’s gives a new, different gown to group members every, single month. Plus, past years’ gowns are still out, yours for the taking! Isn’t that worth the 100L join fee? I think so! The skin I’m in today is Charm/Snow by Cupcakes, and is part of a huge gift for signing up for their subscribo. This particular skin comes with black, blonde, brown, and red brows, 4 lipsticks, teeth and freckles tattoos, and a set of eyes. And let me dispel a myth: Cupcakes is not closing. They are retiring their full permission developer kits, but will still be selling the Cupcakes brand of skins. It’s all good.

A few days ago, reader Jadelynne mentioned that you can wear the new Slink Nail Appliers without mesh hands, and I’m happy to say that she’s absolutely right! More Avatars Choose Sascha’s Designs!

The 2012 Avi Choice Awards were presented last month, recognizing SL residents’ favorite picks in a variety of categories from across the grid. Winning in the Favorite Womens Apparel category (2nd year in a row!) was Sascha Frangilli of Sascha’s Designs. In expression of her appreciation, Sascha has gifted us all with this beautiful, golden Avi Choice Awards 2012 gown. Please note that the gown is free for EVERYONE until January 15, 2013; after that, it will only be free for members of the Sascha’s Designs group.

This amazing gown comes with matching gloves, and several options for the skirt and bodice, so you can mix and match to get your favorite look. Above, I’m showing the full “fluffer” skirt with the bolero jacket. I think this one is my favorite (but it’s so hard to choose!).

This looks is more simple, using the sleek flexi skirt and “boobies frizzle.” I should mention that the skirts of Sascha’s dresses come with a resizer script so you can make them as long and dramatic as you wish.

Finally, this look again uses the “fluffer” skirt, this time with both of the triple straps.

My skin is the new Renee – Trending skin by Glam Affair, available at the January round of Collabor88 (188L). And since the dress is so spectacular on its own, I decided to go with some simple jewelry. This Gold Smokey Quartz set is by PD/ Mayoness, and is only 1L on the Marketplace (it also comes with a matching bracelet). Collabor88ing With Sascha’s

Like Love, I also have a holiday party to attend tonight, but mine is a bit more formal. After finding nothing to wear amid the 48,000 or so items in my wardrobe, I headed straight over to Sascha’s Designs and picked up the December group gift. As usual, Sasha’s did not disappoint! This dress is a beautiful dark burgundy satin, with black beading and embellishments on the bodice. It comes with an optional shoulder wrap, which I’m wearing here. There is a 50L fee to join Sascha’s group, but there are years’ worth of gowns for you to snap up!

Without the shoulder wrap, you can see that the back and sides of the dress take a sexy plunge, showing juuust enough to be a little bit daring, yet still classy. The train comes with a resizer script, but I decided to leave it long and flowy for some extra drama. I’ll probably have to shorten it for tonight so I don’t trip everyone up on the dance floor!

My gorgeous skin is by Glam Affair, and is one of the three Amberly “Frostbite” offerings at the current round of Collabor88. While not free, it is only 188L, a heck of a deal for such an amazing skin. Note that I’m wearing it with Glam Affair’s optional cleavage tatoo layer because, well, I thought this neckline demanded a little “something more!”

My hair is by D!va, also offered at Collabor88. I love the way the wispy strands fall casually around the face and neck. The hair comes in 2 styles, and has a looong, mesh side ponytail as an optional attachment. You can even wear it with or without the bun. My elegant snowflake jewelry is the Peace on Earth Hunt prize from Ear Candy, and offers just enough bling to draw attention to my… ahem! Moving on… my clutch purse is from Duh! (25L), and has a color-changing script with 5 different colors and 3 metals.

Happy Birthday Sascha!

To celebrate Sascha Frangilli’s 6 years in SL, 5 years with Sascha’s Designs and the fact that it is nearly her RL birthday, in the reception area of her shop… she has placed out for her group members a gorgeous birthday gown called Rachel Blush!   The group is 50L to join, but there are a ton of previous gifts to pick up.   It is a partial mesh creation and is beautifully textured.  It comes with a shoulder wrap, however you can wear it without too if you have a jewelry piece you would like to show off… such as the free gift (Rosette Bi-color Necklace with Pink Sapphires and Diamonds), that is sitting in a box at Virtual Impressions!  No  need to join a group – this is a freebie.

She’s an aDORKable D!va in her Sascha’s…

Shhhhhhh don’t tell Sascha…but I am previewing her November Member Group Gift…it is 50L to join her group, Sascha’s Designs…but she does that to keep the spammers out AND she makes it worth your lindens to join!!  Once you become a member you have access to an amazing array of previous monthly group gifts.  Sascha is also very generous with her members…with impromptu sales and 60L weekends…not to mention you usually get several skirt & top options in each dress you buy along with whatever accessories she has created for that gown/outfit (yes she does create more than just those gorgeous gowns). My Dear… I’ve Got Sand In My Satin

The dream boat of a  floral dress I am wearing in this post is the latest group gift from Sascha’s Designs.  The group is 50L to join, but there are tons and tons of past group gifts and special members gifts to take advantage of.  I have been in this group for a long time, and I can honestly say the gifts have been fantastic every month!  This dress in particular is especially perfect for dancing as there are no long glitch pants – its just all leg!  I have accessorized this dress with a group gift from Crystal Line and a pair of group gift heels from Felicity, but I have already blogged these, so I won’t go into great detail about them again.

The lovely skin I am in today is the new group gift from My Dear.  It’s called Group Gift Beach Skin & Shape.  it features a painted butterfly at the corner of the left eye and is in a beautiful summer tanned skin tone.  There is a shape included, however I am wearing my own shape.  Also at My Dear is another group gift skin, and also some free freckles layers and eyebrow layers.  It is a free group to join – so what you waiting for?

Saschas Designs has a stunning gift out for everyone! This is the Avi’s Choice Awards 2011 Gown and can be worn three different ways by removing some of the pieces of the gown for a less “frilly” look.  The glittering gloves are also included.
