The Summer Tide

Hey Fabulouses! It’s a long weekend here in Canada this weekend, and I slipped away for a couple of days, but I’m back just in time to show you the latest group gift from Auxiliary! When you join the Auxiliary inworld group (1000L to join), you gain access to the latest group gift, which is the mesh Summer Tide Top. I love a beachy boho look, so this top was right up my alley! I know, I know… the 1000L join fee seems excessive compared to standard free to join or small fee groups, but they are very generous with their offerings and I feel I have more then received 1000L worth of gorgeous gifts.

As you can see from the photo below, this top is backless with a halter tie at the neck.

The KOSH Multiplex Bracelet I am wearing is texture change, available in male & female sizes and is just 1L on marketplace.

Whew – thank goodness I have one more day off of work to relax and try to recover from my weekend away! Can you think of a better way to do that than a beer at the beach?

An Adorkable Afternoon At The Beach

I dragged Calgon down to the beach today for a walk, rather he walked and I tagged along on his back. While it was a perfect day for a walk on the beach, we were on a mission! We needed to show off some group gifts at Gizza! Calgon is wearing the men’s gift for April that includes the matching pant & shirt set, and I’m wearing the women’s gift for April. It’s A Double Evolution

Even.flow has released two colours of their mesh Evolution Dresses as group gifts and they are quite nice if I do say so myself! At the Even.flow Mainstore you can join the Even.flow inworld group (free to join) and pick up the Petrol shade shown above.

The Fre(e)da Collection

Oh how I love LIV-Glam, Let me count the 17 ways! My jaw nearly dropped to the floor when I saw their recent subscribomatic offer, and I’m about to tell you all about it, so make sure you are safely seated and brace yourself!

When you join the LIV-Glam subscribomatic (which is free!) you will be sent the 17 piece Freda Collection in their HUD system. You wear the HUD, and click on the items you’d like to wear. Delete them after you take them off and just keep the HUD in your inventory. This system they are using is fantastic on my ever growing, overflowing inventory because it takes 1 spot! I have put together 10 outfits with the pieces included to show you just how versatile this mix and match gift is!

There are mesh and non mesh pieces in the pack to please everyone!

The First Annual Sand & Sea Expo – 2013!

The first annual Sand & Sea Expo is on NOW and will only run until May 5th! This fun aquatic event is packed full of featured creations from the participating designers as well as FREE GIFTS! Yes, you heard me right!! How the Beachcomber Event works:

Each of the vendors have agreed to donate a free gift to the Beachcomber Expo. During this event, visitors will visit the displays, locate the ”Beachcomber Shell”, and give it a click. If they are lucky, they will receive the gift item from that vendor. If they are unlucky, they will be unable to try again for two hours.

One gift per avatar, per vendor! Below is an example of the shell you are looking for:

Today I picked up the April group gift at LIV Glam and was pleasantly surprised with a vibrantly coloured summer mesh dress called Jasmyne Print Dress. This off the shoulder beauty will have all heads turning your way! The group is 500L to join, however there are new gifts every month and well over 100 gifts to pick up making the fee well worth it.
