A Day NOT at the Beach

I do spend a lot of my time at beach.. but occasionally I want to take a walk on the “wild side.” So I tossed on some clothes that I found at Lapointe & Bastchild (L&B) and went in search of something scary. I ended up in this old broken down cathedral that looked as if it had been ripped right out of the pages of a Scooby Doo episode… it was THAT scary! It’s a good thing I had some nice leather boots on from L&B.. there were nails sticking up everywhere.. some with blood on them. The boots were in two pieces so you could wear them with out the tops – perfect for wearing with flared bottom pants. The pattern long-sleeved shirt was open to provide a little ventilation in case I broke out in a cold sweat… L&B has a LOT of free stuff for both guys and ladies that are interested in “going gothic.” I’m just showing you a small part of what is available for FREE.

Intrepid Adventurer?

My intrepid adventuristic (probably not a word) tendencies took over and I started wandering around the dark and creepy place. The music and sounds were creepy… there were visages of nuns (at least they were dressed up as nuns) with whips and contraptions that I’m not sure were designed for the comfort of their user. As I was taking notes my boot stepped on something that caused a crunch… I looked down and backed up a step to examine the remains of the unfortunate soul who’s finger bone I just crushed…

Can I get you a glass of water?

I looked around and noticed other unfortunates that had experienced the same fate. I calmly stood.. took a few notes and continued my research as I made my way back to the entrance… I did not bother to take any more pictures of the grisly scenes I observed as I cataloged everything I wrote down as I calmly exited from the grounds. Perhaps I shall return and seek vindication for those lost souls another day…

I’m Nuts About The Group Gifts @ SAKIDE!

“Would you care for some hazelnut spread?” Yes… there is a reason I am posing with Nutella lol, and I will be sure to share it with you, after I explain my super cool outfit… but first, I would really like to say that Nutella is best all mixed up with vanilla bean ice cream!

The French Touch @ SAKIDE!

SAKIDE VIPs are spoiled yet again with very generous group gifts!! In the past notices, after joining (250L to join) you will find two gifts that are brand new releases! The outfit I am wearing in this photo is called The French Touch Outfit and it includes the mesh French Touch polka-dotted skirt, Lace Undersweater and also the Latex Rubber Pumps in white. I am going to show you the second gift in another post, because they are so different… and I may be a bit OCD about my blog photos matching lol. You’ll see what I mean in my next post!

Delirium On Monday

Good morning Fabulouses! *passes coffee out to all of the morning readers :)* I have good news! Delirium Style has placed out their group gifts for January and this month, after you join the inworld group for 99L you can pick up this fun retro printed mesh dress and matching mesh boots! D-Style often puts out group gifts for both men and women – it’s well worth the join fee! Last month they had more gifts than I could count! I just accidentally washed my phone with a load of bed sheets… so I have to remember the saying C’est la Vie! I say that with gritted teeth while hoping the phone works once it’s dry. Anyway… while the phone dries I escaped to SL.

Ydea is All It’s Cracked Up to Be

(Day 2 in the Crack Den) I woke sometime during the night to the sound of someone rummaging through my bags. I guess when you live on the streets, you get a sense of where you can find “treasure.” It was a young kid and as soon as I snatched the bag from his hands, muttering “scram kid,” he gave me a wide-eyed look and took off. I figured I better get on my way since I’m sure he would be bringing back friends soon and they’d be much larger and not so easily frightened. I went through my bag and tried out some clothes that I’d picked up at Ydea Style - free gifts for their members. I slipped on the Neal outfit, which included white-belted jeans, a rolled-up sleeve buttoned shirt with button-flap pockets, and sneakers. I looked myself over and although I looked sharp in it, I realized that with the white belt I might as well advertise my presence with a neon sign.

I dug further into the bag and found another member gift outfit from Ydea… this one called Dalton. Dalton and Neil are the latest gift releases and I found them on their back wall in the main store. Dalton’s outfit included some nice looking ripped jeans and a loosely buttoned long-sleeved shirt that blended in better for this part of town. It also came with shoes more suitable for running and a razor necklace – both of which might come in handy. As I made my way along the deserted streets in the pre-dawn twilight, I noticed the light of a nearby street lamp glinting off my necklace and made me realize… what am I thinking? I swapped it out and put on another necklace that I picked up as a free member gift from Grasp. This one had a skull and cross, which might not have been as badass-looking as a razor blade but at least it couldn’t be used against me.

Not wanting to litter, I tossed the razor blade in a nearby trash can and realized the folly of my actions when the “clank” of the necklace hitting the bottom of the can at that time in the morning sounded like someone banging a gong. Sure enough, my buddy from the day before (still wearing the white vest) popped out of a nearby doorway and said, “if it isn’t my fashion consultant… nice threads.” I didn’t even wait. I stripped down and handed him all of my clothes and to my surprise he handed me his jeans. He pointed up the street and said, “I’d go that way if I were you.” So half naked, in an Akeruka skin “Neo” (free member gift this month), I finally escaped the crime-ridden streets of Crack Den and made my way back to the safety of SL shops… well ok.. relative safety.
