I Can Barely See – Part 1 Of 2

Hiya Fabbies!  You’ll have to bare with me… (Is it bare or bear? Must be bare…) My RL glasses are broken and I am squishing my eyes trying to see through my glued and taped together specs LMAO.  Hopefully next week I’ll have a brand new pair and can SEE again!  I found a hilarious matching pair to my RL glasses in the SPLASH marketplace store.  They aren’t free – 100L, but I wanted to share them because I thought it was funny.

This blog post actually ran away with me a bit and I am splitting it up into two because the credits were about three miles long!  So.. in this post I will share with you what I’m wearing, and in the next post, I’ll share all the other stuff, because a lot of the furnishings you see are free / under 10L too!

Today I am wearing the newly released Maya outfit at LIV Glam that consists of the mesh skirt and matching vest/ printed puppy top.  When LIV Glam realeases new items – they are 99L for a limited time, and then go up to their regular price, so it’s best to keep an eye on the new releases, and get them new at their lowest price!    The Mosh Pit Combat Boots in FLORA print are the latest group gift at Sn@tch, available in store now to VIPs.  It is 250L to join the group.

Happy Easter!

J StyleZ has designed a very cute mesh spring dress called Niamh for  the Spring Is Near Acid Lily Simwide Hunt.  The adorable daffodil printed dress is just what I needed for this weekend and you can find it hidden in a lady bug hunt icon at Acid Lily  (5L).

I found the Easter Basket shown on marketplace in the !gO! store for just 1L.  I may have to take some little chickies out and make room for some Cadbury’s Easter Cream Eggs (mmm those are my favourite Easter candy craving!), but it is pretty cute with the dress!  I’m curious now…  What’s your “Easter Candy Poison”?

The skin I am in today is a free gift from HUIT in celebration of the opening of there new R2 location.  It comes with cleavage and no cleavage option and there is no need to join a group – just go visit the shop and pick it up!

Could It Really Be Spring?

I have news of a fun little hunt you might want to check out!  Acid Lily is putting on the Spring is Near Hunt, where you can find 11 hidden lady bugs across the sim.  Each prize is 5L and you can find hints and a complete prize preview on their blog.  This hunt runs until April 9th, so there is plenty of time

Oh Maai, This Is A Great Lucky Chair!

Happy Friday Fabulouses!  My feet are killing me from all of this lucky board stalking!!  Don’t mind me if I slip off my shoes and just go barefoot

Fab Free’s own, Blondie Scheflo sent me an IM last week to let me know about the freshly loaded lucky chair at the newly decorated Maai store.  There are several fantastic creations to be won including this mesh Grace Dress in Violet that is a one piece day suit.  The chair is set to a ten minute time over, and it is filled with formal and non-formal wear.  No need to join the group, although I recommend it just to keep on top of things with this great shop!

FabFree is hoppin today with posts from Drea and Serena, and I have a few more freebies to share with you too!  LIV Glam has placed out a new group gift to add to the ever growing Members Gift area.  The beautiful mesh navy spring belted dress with an all over rose print is the March Group Gift.  The group is 500L to join, but make sure you have a peek at all of the gifts before you decide that’s too steep of a group fee.  It looks to me to be a very generous deal with walls full of prezzies for VIPs!

I was lucky enough to win the sparkly Rulie2 Necklace on the group lucky board at Crystal Line.  You do have to be a Crystal Line group member to participate, however the group is free.

There’s A Somnia Freebie @ The Wash Cart Sale!

The Cart Sale at The Wash Sim ends tomorrow, so if you haven’t made time to head down there and check out for yourself what is there, make sure you do it quick!

Today I am wearing some really cute pieces that can be found on the Somnia Cart for just 10L, and one of them is even a free gift!  The Knit Mess and Knit Mini (both mesh), are 10L each, and the cream coloured leggings with lace trim are in the prim heart sitting on the edge of the cart as a free gift for everyone!

As you can see from the photos below of the cart, there are many great mesh and non mesh designs to pick up, some in fatpacks of several colours for just 10L.  I think the Harmonic Fusion Top is pretty sweet too.

I talked with Second Life resident, “Jane” today at the Wash Cart Sale.  Yes…  She’s a little shy about using her name, and that’s ok!  She was having a slow day i SL, and thought she would visit the Wash Sim to see what was new.  It really couldn’t have been a better time with the big sale going on!   She hadn’t had a chance to look at all the carts yet, when I found her, but I can quote her saying “Some are pretty sweet!”.

Marching Into Prism

Smiling In The Mirror

I can’t wait for summer days with short shorts and breezy blouses.  It has been a long RL winter, but it doesn’t have to be in SL.  In fact… it’s whatever season you want it to be here, so summer it is for me today!

A Little Birdie Told Me…

A little birdie (which happens to be 1L on marketplace in the Miss Murder shop, lol) told me that there is a gorgeous Pasqualina Jewelry Set sitting out as a free gift for all at the Donna Flora Store.  It includes the necklace and earrings shown and is in a gorgeous shade of blush.  No need to join the subscribo or inworld group for this free gift, however I still recommend it so you can stay up to date on news and gifts and stuff!

I have been just wracking my brain trying to find a dress in the same shade so I could share it with you, but I finally came upon this beautiful (and not free / sorry bout that!) Cutout Lace Top Dress that is currently being exclusively featured at The Whore Couture Fair.  Of course it is available in several colours, but this is the shade I was after and it matches perfectly!  

I am wearing my Al Vulo Polly skin which I wear quite often, because it feels the most like me with minimal makeup, just a bit of clear gloss.  The simplicity of this skin, allows me to throw on all kinds of makeup layers and makeovers, which the MOCK inworld group has been spoiling me with!  I can’t keep up with all of the gifts that are in notices right now.  The group is 250L to join, and worth every little linden.  I am wearing the Ginger Chocolate Makeover which is still in past notices as of today.

Drip Dropping All Over My Ipad!

I must be looking forward to spring, because that’s two days in a row I am doing pictures in the rain! My look today is a bit of a mix of some Fashion Gallery finds as well as some freebies, in fact.. I think the only thing I paid more than 70L for was my hair, but Edith is worth every penny!

The inspiration for this outfit was definitely a trip to Acid Lily to check out this round of goodies, where I found the mesh .:SS:.  Womens Vest & Belly Ts priced at just 65L in several solid and printed variations.  I also snagged these way too cool low heeled, laced up Amsterdam Mesh Boots in the shade of midnight made by Moyaz at Acid Lily for 70L.

A skip and a jump on over to The Dressing Room Fusion is where you’ll find the Essences Thursday Chic skin, available in three skin tones, priced at just 70L per skin tone.  It includes three brow colours and also some make up blush tattoos.

These Destroyed Light Jeans can be found on the SD Cart at The Wash Cart Sale for one more week, priced at 10L.

After I had all these great things put together, I could see I was in need of some accessories!  I checked out the Kosh marketplace store and they have a free Ribbon Necklace that is texture change, and unisex, so I picked that up, and then TPed on over to Icon where FabFree reader Whimsy S. mentioned that they had some super cute Ipads for free!  These are available without a group join or subscribo, just buy for 0L
