What’s Next: Blossoming Into 2013?

Confession: I hate odd-numbered years. I know, I know; odd-numbered years are no different than even-numbered years, but hey, everyone’s got their “thing,” right? This just happens to be mine. Add to that the fact that next year has a 13 in it, and I can’t help but worry that we’re in for a bumpy ride! Thank goodness I’ve got Nessie – who’s not afraid of ANYTHING, by the way – to help ease my irrational, numerical fears!

Today I’m wrapping my fears in my fave color purple with this lovely, mesh, berry wrap dress and shoes by [Blossom], which are their December gifts for the Womenstuff Hunt. The November gift is also still available, so hurry over and get yourself an even-numbered 2-fer! The Womenstuff Hunt is loaded with fabulous gifts, and ends on January 2nd.

This gorgeous skin with shimmery shadow is from [Pink Fuel], and was their prize in the With Love Hunt, which I think ended on December 28th. Sigh… So I’m facing my fear by surrounding myself with these pretty New Year’s decor items from {what next}. Have A Gawk At These Flawless Autumn Casuals

 I spent most of today shopping in RL (YAY!), but I did manage to pick up a few goodies in SL to show you too!

In the photo above I am wearing the mesh Flawless Dress from 1 Hundred in Burnt Umber.  The texture on this dress is so rich and vibrant, it’s a must pick up!   This dress is the hunt gift for The Autumn Hunt which is all yours for 5L after locating the hidden cornacopia icon at the 1 Hundred Mainstore.

Another fantabulous TAH gift that you can score for 5L, is this very sexy Autumn Neckholder Dress shown below from GAWK.  It features a tied bow across the bare back and a low cut  bare back.  The front has a beautiful diagonal leaf print.

22769 Casual Couture has a super adorable mesh Holly Tunic Dress as their TAH gift (again 5L).  I am a huge fan of the cut of this dress and the texture is really nice too.  A def keeper in my wardrobe!  I may be back for other colours soon!

I’m A Pixel Snob

If you are a fan of mesh fashion and great gifts, you really need to check out Pixel Snobs!  They have a group gift, MM boards, Lucky Boards, and various hunts going on right now.  In the photo above I am wearing the Diamond Dust Tube Top in Jade with the Ladies Dress Trouser in Pewter.  Below I am wearing the Medium Jeans Ripped with the Spring Tube Top in Melon Peach Tango.  All four items were won in lucky chairs at the back of the Pixel Snobs store!

RibboN Lucky Boards

I was so excited when I got the notecard from RibboN this morning when I logged on stating that they had new lucky board prizes!  I TPed directly there and it took about an hour to win the gorgeous Long Skirt in a lucky board limited edition print, the Open Lace Top in White, and also the same top in black (not shown in this post, but on the board!).  All of these items are mesh and very well made.

Whitney In Full Ploom

Scribbling in Santorini

I took a little trip to Santorini this morning and noticed at Alex’s Santorini Club, if you join their free inworld group, you can pick up three gifts made by Paris Metro!  The first gift is the Scribble Cocktail Dress shown above in Midnight Blue that also includes the matching hat.  The second gift  is the Scribble Gown in Plum shown below that includes the matching gloves.  The third gift is a men’s silk shirt (not shown).  These gifts are available only until June 1st, so act quickly if you are interested in these items!

Time Passes Thinking About You

Isn’t It Grand?

Medley is having one heck of a sale!  Until March 17th, almost everything in the store is 20 or 50 lindens including the fabulous skin I am wearing in this post.  I picked up the Bailey Natural Cateye skin in sand skin tone for just 20L and there is a ton more where that came from!  Not only are they really nice skins, but they come with three eyebrow options (blonde, red, dark), so you can wear it with whatever hair colour you wish.

My long, curly hair is called Kristen and is a new marketplace promo in the Alli & Ali store that you can snag for free until April 10th.   It comes in the dark goldbrown shade you see in the photos and is mod.
