Pearls In The Sand

*RoTtEn DeFiAnCe* recently sent out a MASS group gift to her group of these beautiful starfish/pearl accessories with many and I mean MANY options. The group gift contained around 200 options of all the accessories and jewelry. Wow right? I just can’t get over the quality and quantity of this group gift. Just amazing. To go with the pearl headband I threw back on the free pearl necklace from Lazuri’s Marketplace that I had shown in my previous post. I had my nails done in a french tip style for this outfit which just so happen to be a free gift for Slink’s avatar enhancement hand and feet from *League*. The nails come in around 20 tones for your choice for many styles or skin tones. And the finishing touch to this beautiful outfit is this icy winter eyeshadow I picked up from *Tori-Tastic* for only 2L. Many of the beautiful eyeshadows from this store I use to put a finishing touch on many of my outfits since they’re in a great color range and welly priced.

Well I’m getting sand in my heels so I need to get them off and shake it out.

Walking Down In Elegance

I was out of the blue invited to an A list event at last minute. So I had to rush and get ready before I was late! I ran over to Sassy! and found this beautiful dress hidden in Sassy’s store for the “Little Big Hunt.”  The “Little Big Hunt”  is a free hunt with top of the line designers. But what elegant outfit  is ready to be seen by many without a string of pearls along your neck. I looked high and low for the perfect set to compliment the dress and then I ran across Lazuri’s marketplace store and found this beautiful set of pearls for free. Necklace,earrings,rings,and a bracelet all for free! Elegant for free? What could be better?

Washed Up On The Shore

Hi All!

I know I haven’t posted in a while been mega busy! But with this mass pile up of things to do I did notice all the stores having closing sales. I am sad to say that the store “The Sea Hole” will be closing it’s door after May 31st. All clothes in store have been set to 50L as a big final blowout sale before they close their doors forever! In the mix of this huge sale I grabbed this beautiful tentacle dress with the matching purse which I did not show in the photo above.

Another beloved store is closing sadly. “Adorkable Poses” will be closing it’s doors for good and moving all poses to marketplace only after June 9th. But they also are having a big blow out sale making all poses 50% off. The pose I am using in the photo is from the “25 Days Of Poses” set it is day 22 and only cost me 5L for the single pose.

Well time to head off and go adventuring on this beautiful beach.

Afternoon Interrupted

Oh no! Gavin and I were spending a relaxing afternoon together, and now I walk in to find that Nessie has left me a little… present!  BAD NESSIE! Sigh… it has really been one of those days, so I guess this should be no surprise.

While I’m cleaning up, take a look at Gavin. He’s wearing the new Chris skin/shape/hair from REDGRAVE. Not free, but soooo handsome! His outfit, on the other hand, is free, and is the .:Mr. Hunter Hunt:. v.IV gift from Shadow Moon (0L). It includes the mesh shirt and vest, pants, and boots. It Was A Cold Winter Night… Outside These Four Walls

It may have been a cold, winter night outside, but inside these four walls, it was warm and cozy! Like Love, I recently did a little Cold Winter Nights Hunting. And she did not exaggerate about how fabulous the prizes are in this hunt! Check out Love’s post here for more information about the Cold Winter Night Hunt and for photos of some of the great prizes she picked up.

I invited Gavin over to see my new Little Getaway Skybox, the CWNH prize from Designer Prims. I had so much fun playing with the options on this amazing skybox that I may have gotten an eensy bit carried away. Seriously though, there is almost nothing you can’t mod, so you can customize it to be whatever you want it to be. There’s a menu-driven panel to change the floor, brick walls, and accent wood; the rest you can just re-texture yourself. Trust me, your 10L will be well spent on this one! The furniture you see here (most of it) is part of the hunt prize from Cleo Design. It includes two different sofas, a rug, coffee table with candles and fruit, a magazine rack, and a mirror and set of pictures that you can’t see in this picture. Again, I went a little nuts playing with the color options on the sofas. They come with several fun animations, and even dispense props! The lovely artwork you see over the green sofa not a hunt prize, but is a gift from Whiskey Monday to celebrate the first anniversary of Atelier Kreslo. There is also second gift, which I’ll show you in a bit.

I had this empty back wall and nothing to fill it up, so I accidentally on-purpose wandered off into another hunt: The Four Walls Hunt.

The Four Walls Hunt runs until January 31st, and includes 37 stores. All prizes are 20L, but are valued at 200L or more. Be sure to visit the official blog for prize photos and SLURLs. You’ll be hunting for an evergreen tree in a cardboard box.

Ok, back to my empty wall: I saw a picture of the Miller Dresser and Positive Words Art from PILOT and decided that I absolutely had to have it. Can you believe the dresser is only 2 L.I.? Oh, and see that cakestand full of delicious cupcakes? Another Four Walls prize, this time from Sway’s. It comes with the plates and cups you saw on the table in the previous pictures, as well as a couple of cute wall-hangings. Yummy! The Bird Cage Lamp is not a hunt item, but rather a free gift from Sway’s. There is also a smaller version in the box. Over in the corner is another non-hunt item, the Mayfair Trunk (Old Glory), a VIP group gift from {what next} (250L to join). The bookcase and furnishings inside are part of the skybox.

Gavin is such a “Sheldon” that I decided to pick up the Star Party star-gazing set, the CWNH prize from -Hanaya-. It is mesh, weighs in at 9 L.I., and comes with menu-driven animations for up to three avatars. It’s really a lot of fun to play with. Hey, looks like Gavin found something!

Here is an outside view of the skybox. The inside brick texture carries to the outside wall. There is a door on the other side, in case you decide to put your home on land instead of floating in the sky.

More evidence of my “modding madness”: I took out the fireplace that came with the skybox and added this Oak Fireplace, the CWNH prize from [Barnesworth Anubis]. The mirror over the mantle and the two pictures to the left of the fireplace are part of the Cleo Design CWNH prize. And the little daisy on a chair is the other anniversary gift from Atelier Kreslo; it comes in 3 sizes, with this one being the largest. To the right of the fireplace is the Pallet Log Box, the most recent VIP group gift from {what next}. Gavin and I decided to finish off those cupcakes; we’re snuggling in the Warming Up couples pose, the CWNH prize from Atooly.

Oh, and about what we’re wearing: Gavin’s beautifully textured mesh sweater is the CWNH prize from {Epicosity}, and my sparkly Pom Pom sweater is the prize from ::PurpleMoon::. My pants are not a hunt prize, but I’ll tell you about them anyway: they are the R.icielli Mesh SALLY Skinny Pants, available for 10L on the Marketplace. Falling Alphas, Snowflakes, and Petals

Yesterday sure was a crazy day on the grid, what with inventories loading slooowly, or not loading at all. I couldn’t change my clothes for hours, which is a fashion blogger’s nightmare, let me tell you. I logged off in frustration, and when I finally came back, all of my alpha layers had fallen off, making it look like I was wearing Swiss cheese… with holes in all the worst places! It immediately became clear to me that I really needed some underwear!

So I took a peek at the Marketplace for some undies, and found this pretty Snowflake Sparkle set by Eshi Otawara. It comes in both white and black, and best of all, is free! This skin with the gorgeous make-up is Glam Affair’s latest group gift, Amberly – Petal Edition – Melodia Red (check group notices). I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for fantasy skins, and I really love the vivid colors in this one. The Glam Affair group is 30L to join, and regularly sends out beautiful gift skins to members. My diamond bracelet and earrings are part of the current group gift from Lazuri (free to join), and comes in 5 different metals and 3 types of diamonds. My hair is a previous subscribo gift from >TRUTH<, but I’m disappointed to say that it is no longer available for free.

I’m sure I’ll feel much safer in my new undies the next time my alphas fall off!
