The Summer Tide

Hey Fabulouses! It’s a long weekend here in Canada this weekend, and I slipped away for a couple of days, but I’m back just in time to show you the latest group gift from Auxiliary! When you join the Auxiliary inworld group (1000L to join), you gain access to the latest group gift, which is the mesh Summer Tide Top. I love a beachy boho look, so this top was right up my alley! I know, I know… the 1000L join fee seems excessive compared to standard free to join or small fee groups, but they are very generous with their offerings and I feel I have more then received 1000L worth of gorgeous gifts.

As you can see from the photo below, this top is backless with a halter tie at the neck.

Whew – thank goodness I have one more day off of work to relax and try to recover from my weekend away! Can you think of a better way to do that than a beer at the beach?

Well hello there…. fancy meeting you here! or ummm….wait… Hi there folks! …
no no… that’s not quite right either….. *bites her lip* OHH HAI!!! Ah… I guess that will do…. Do *not* let anyone ever tell you that blogging is easy *laughs* totally way harder than it appears… People like Love just make it look easy….

Well if you haven’t figured it out yet…. I am yet another one of those “newbie bloggers” and I am deliriously happy to be here… yep…. this is my picture right here… *CHEESES and points down to pic*

Now I was so trying to.. “you know”.. come out swinging… and after hours of research I figured out something…. I needed to find some other places to hit…. Then I happened to see my little puudy tat running around my SIM and ding ding…. I heard the curious call…. and that meowing…. Oh wait, that was just *Thumpy* (yeah.. I named the cat)

I hit up Curious Kitties for their Spring Festival and found a ton of freebies dangling from the walls <3 *Yay and Stuff*

In the photos I'm wearing Curious Kitties skin, hair, head piece, wings (they have these cute particles that fall like little sparkly dust raining off them gradually) and choker. Their store seems to have doubled in size and it took awhile for me to snag everything… Their spring line is adorable, as I just love Sakura trees and it's filled with them, I might be able to sneak in a couple more items in my next post

I also happened to swing by Chain and Vine and found a new group gift sitting there all pretty like waiting for me to don my tag, click and snag… It's this mesh little white lace ruffle dress, which moves really well

My bracelet is from KOSH and can be found on the marketplace for L$1. It has a texture change hud built in and just seemed to work for me. <3

My last find was these little sneakers, now I found them on the marketplace for L$5 and I was like… Oh okay, yeah those are cute… then I put them on and they were white and I was like.. *BOGGLE* and there in the folder was a hud… Now… I can make these lil guys any color I want… and it allows me to change the laces/hole rings/main body/and the rubber bits… to different colors… CHA-Ching!!! total score for the Care-bear.

Drip Dropping All Over My Ipad!

I must be looking forward to spring, because that’s two days in a row I am doing pictures in the rain! My look today is a bit of a mix of some Fashion Gallery finds as well as some freebies, in fact.. I think the only thing I paid more than 70L for was my hair, but Edith is worth every penny!

The inspiration for this outfit was definitely a trip to Acid Lily to check out this round of goodies, where I found the mesh .:SS:. Womens Vest & Belly Ts priced at just 65L in several solid and printed variations. I also snagged these way too cool low heeled, laced up Amsterdam Mesh Boots in the shade of midnight made by Moyaz at Acid Lily for 70L.

A skip and a jump on over to The Dressing Room Fusion is where you’ll find the Essences Thursday Chic skin, available in three skin tones, priced at just 70L per skin tone. It includes three brow colours and also some make up blush tattoos.

These Destroyed Light Jeans can be found on the SD Cart at The Wash Cart Sale for one more week, priced at 10L.

After I had all these great things put together, I could see I was in need of some accessories! I checked out the Kosh marketplace store and they have a free Ribbon Necklace that is texture change, and unisex, so I picked that up, and then TPed on over to Icon where FabFree reader Whimsy S. mentioned that they had some super cute Ipads for free! These are available without a group join or subscribo, just buy for 0L

I Love Noel in the Springtime

It’s no secret that I love fantasy clothing. I don’t role-play; I just like to dress dress the part. Anyway, this lovely satin, brocade gown is -Lara- Turquoise, the February group gift from *Aggressione*. The group is free to join, and when you do, you’ll get another little giftie just for joining! When I saw this gorgeous Noel skin from -Belleza- advertised for today’s Fifty Linden Friday, I knew I had to have it. I mean, how beautiful IS that eye shadow?! Such a perfect match for the -Lara- dress. I’m a child of the 70s, and blue eye shadow never looked so good, trust me. Where Is The Concert Hunt 2 – Ends Tomorrow!

The Where Is The Concert 2 Hunt ends tomorrow on December 1st, so you’ll have to do some really fast hunting if you are interested in these items!! I’m not exactly sure where the month of November went, but I hope December is a bit slower for me! There are approx 35 stops in this particular hunt and you can find all of the slurls at the official blog with details on how to complete this hunt! Witch’s Milk

Only a few days left to get ready for Halloween and I am doing my best to pack in all the Halloween themed stuff I can before it’s over for another year.

This very cool witches hat and pumpkin lip piercing set can be found as a group gift at Acid Lily (free to join), and the PAVOUK necklace at the Kosh Mainstore, sold for just 1L for a limited time.

If you’d like to pick up the black lace lined body suit, you can find it at Milk for 5L after you have located The Autumn Hunt icon (cornacopia). It includes the full body suit with garters, but no stockings. I found the stockings that came with my N-Core shoes work great! I am itching to put this bodysuit with a long black boho skirt! It’s a must have staple for this time of year!

The Hunger Pose I have used for this post was recently sent out as a free Halloween gift to Nani subscribers.

Usually at Sn@tch, the 7 Seas Fishing prizes are switched out every second Wednesday and today was that day… I spent a couple hours fishing last night in hopes I could show it before it changed out today and I just couldn’t get the pieces in time lol, but… Ivey has decided to leave this particular prize up for a few extra days so this is great news, because it really is a FABULOUS prize! Finding FabFree 41 – 60

Fabulously Free are celebrating 5 years! We all know how time feels in SL. Days can seem like weeks, weeks like months and years like a life time so this is a huge achievement!

I know I am the newest writer on the block but I have been reading FabFree for at least 3 of those 5 years and have always been eager to see the newest freebie finds and reading all about new designers. I have had my favourite writers, ones that have been an inspiration to me to try my hand at blogging and I am so honoured to now be part of the family here. I only hope I can help to carry on the blog for another 5 year and more! Who knows what will be going on in here by then!
