A Day NOT at the Beach

I do spend a lot of my time at beach.. but occasionally I want to take a walk on the “wild side.” So I tossed on some clothes that I found at Lapointe & Bastchild (L&B) and went in search of something scary. I ended up in this old broken down cathedral that looked as if it had been ripped right out of the pages of a Scooby Doo episode… it was THAT scary! It’s a good thing I had some nice leather boots on from L&B.. there were nails sticking up everywhere.. some with blood on them. The boots were in two pieces so you could wear them with out the tops – perfect for wearing with flared bottom pants. The pattern long-sleeved shirt was open to provide a little ventilation in case I broke out in a cold sweat… L&B has a LOT of free stuff for both guys and ladies that are interested in “going gothic.” I’m just showing you a small part of what is available for FREE.

Intrepid Adventurer?

My intrepid adventuristic (probably not a word) tendencies took over and I started wandering around the dark and creepy place. The music and sounds were creepy… there were visages of nuns (at least they were dressed up as nuns) with whips and contraptions that I’m not sure were designed for the comfort of their user. As I was taking notes my boot stepped on something that caused a crunch… I looked down and backed up a step to examine the remains of the unfortunate soul who’s finger bone I just crushed…

Can I get you a glass of water?

I looked around and noticed other unfortunates that had experienced the same fate. I calmly stood.. took a few notes and continued my research as I made my way back to the entrance… I did not bother to take any more pictures of the grisly scenes I observed as I cataloged everything I wrote down as I calmly exited from the grounds. Perhaps I shall return and seek vindication for those lost souls another day…

A Walk in Brussels

It’s a great day for a walk in the sunshine, so I decided to take a stroll around the City of Brussels. I’m wearing the February group gift from Vero Modero (free to join), along with these Shearling Short Boots, the latest group gift from ::GABRIEL:: (free to join).

I was lucky enough to get this great skin for free from the lucky boards at *JOMO*. It comes with the tattoo you see here. My jewelry is one of the current men’s group gifts from Chop Zuey (350L to join; lots of gifts out now!), and my hair is the group gift from Mr. C (30L to join). The hair doesn’t come with a hairbase, so you’ll need to find one you like to wear it with. I wearing the hairbase from the *OMIKO* group gift from Yasum.

A Little Naughty Can Be Nice

After reading Love’s post about the Naughty and Nice Hunt, I popped on over to Gay Riviera and got sidetracked by a freebie being offered in Santa’s Workshop. It’s a special sock with a great feature – it dispenses candy canes! It has some wonderful details and is perfect for any naughty Christmas parties you may be attending this year. I have had no complaints about the candy canes thus far. It was the perfect way for me to show off the Jomo Boy Lucky Skin I picked up from a lucky board in the store. Wet ‘n Dry

Please… Don’t Feed the Vampires!

It is said that the nosferatu hunt throughout the night and sleep during the day. So I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to spend a night walking through an abandoned part of old London. I wasn’t able to sleep, and after a couple hours of beating the feathers out of my pillow, I finally tossed on some clothes, cinched up my boots, grabbed a bag of my favorite chips – garlic flavored kettle chips (so I carry a toothbrush around with me… don’t hate), and went for a stroll in the moonlight. It was a very peaceful walk and I was enjoying the solitude.. up until I heard, “bleh bleh bleh… ” I turned to find that I was suddenly not alone. I was staring at a dark stranger wearing a cape, with odd eyes and a creepy smile and a hat that hadn’t seen the light of day since the Seven Years War. He had a strange pallor to his skin and when he smiled I could swear I saw fangs gleaming off the light from a nearby lamp post.

Then I put two and two together, after realizing what he had said and I replied,

“Really? Bleh bleh bleh? Real vampires don’t say that, but that is a cool outfit, dude. Want some chips?”

I extended my bag to him and he took one whiff, shrieked and turned into a bat, causing all of his clothes to fall to the ground in a crumpled heap as he skittered away. As I watched him vanish into the murky night, I muttered, “must not be his flavor” and then checked out what he left behind. Being a discerning wearer of clothes, I wasn’t going to put on just any ol’ vampire outfit. So I checked the labels and discovered that I had scored on a bunch of free stuff! I donned all of the clothing and when I put on the hat… my hair, eyes and skin changed! Kinda creepy… Then I felt something strange about my teeth and realized I was going to need to upgrade my dental insurance. I’d also lost my appetite for chips.. of any flavor. What good is it to have great teeth if I can’t eat chips?? I guess you can’t win ‘em all..

Putting A Little Fantasy Into Your Monday

October is such a fun month, because you can dress out of your comfort zone, and no one bats an eye! Today I am wearing the Trick or Treat Trail Hunt gift from Vero Modero which includes the sexy black suit that has me all kinds of dominant looking and a fantasy skin made by JOMO that is a free gift sitting up at the front of the store which Goddess Arahnia was kind enough to send me an IM and tell me about! Isn’t this skin great? I love all of the detailing. Check out those sparkly eyes, and the teeth are unique too with a bit of an imperfect gap between the front teeth.
