Taste of SL 2nd Birthday Hunt

Taste of SL Hunt: Part 1

Taste of Second Life turns 1 year old in June and the participating designers are celebrating by having a month long grid hunt and gatcha boardwalk sale at the Aleoxhol Mall!   The Taste of SL hunt begins June 15th and ends July 15th.  The starting point is Alexohol Fashions.  Here are some of the goodies that can be found on the hunt.

Here is a close up of the Pink Fuel skin that is sooo cute and the BC322 hair that is just so fun! Khalania showed you this the other day but I couldnt resist making it part of this look. I have always loved their hair ever since finding them through the first Crazy Ass Hair Hunt over a year ago.. They come up with some of the most interesting styles. Be sure to check some more of them out while you are waiting for the Lucky Board to click around to your letter.

I had some fun dancing with my man…equin *laughs* this is a really fun pose prop. It has several fun poses in it and is great just to use in a photostudio or in a store so there are lots of purposes for it. Its copyable so you can put out a few too. Here are a few examples of the poses..

Come on Iren

I finally did the IrEn Village Hunt last night after encouragement from readers that said the hunt was easy and had great prizes!  The IrEn Village Hunt began August 5th and ends on the 19th.  Find the strawberries hidden inside the shops on the sim for great prizes!

The maroon knit dress is from JEM.  The Winged Lashes are in the strawberry at the ES eyes Store.  I simply adore the beautiful Stella skin from Tik Tok.  If you like this skin join the Tik Tok update group for another Stella skin in the gift at the front of the store.

At IrEn the strawberry contains three super tanks.  The camouflage roots jeans are from funkstar.  I think these are unisex, so ladies drag your men over!

There are two strawberries to find at IrUrU.  One of the strawberries contains the wings tattoo which is extremely intriguing and the other has the Supreme tattoo.  The skin worn with the tattoos is the Stella group gift skin at Tik Tok.

The Solstice Clubbing skins are from the strawberry at Sn@tch and come in 4 skin tones.  Lazy Places has silver Geek love necklaces all with different wording.  The five necklaces have Fail, Ftw, OMG, Omgwtfbbq, and Orly on them.  Puncture has a cheek piercing in the strawberry.

The white panda crop top is in the strawberry at FuK’n'Hawt.  The classy blue BoTo Asia shirt is from ILAYA.  The St.Valentine necklace is a group gift I picked up while at IrEn.

In addition to the IrEn Village hunt gifts there are many gifts located in the stores.  The brown Clock eyes and Dream of Shopoholic eyes are in a gift at ES eyes Store.  The short Earth hair is a group gift located on the wall near the entrance at IrEn.  Take a look around all the stores because I saw extra gifts in most of the stores!

Bikinis and More!

Lately, I can’t go too long without showing swimwear.  So here’s a few summery swimsuits I found on the grid recently!  The black Hearts bikini is a dollarbie at KHUSH.

Orage Creations has a colorful bikini for only L$5 to celebrate the World Cup.  The Back to Basics Flip Flops have 150 color combinations and are completely free from In Her Shoes.

I know all of you haven’t been hit with the swimwear bug like I have, so here’s some summer finds that don’t require water!  Total Knockout has an England short set for all the World Cup Fans out there.  The denim Lace dress is a dollarbie at Total Knockout.

Coquette & Co. is having a L$50 going out of business sale.  Mairead Fitzgerald tped me over because she noticed an R on the lucky board for the purple Stripez Bandana top.  Be sure to look around at all the deals before the store closes!  The Villian denim jeans are in the midnight mania board at SD Wears.

Ms. Ilaya Allen of [ILAYA] sent me her gifts for the Fashion is Love hunt.  The BoTo shirt comes in red and white and is great for a casual day out.  All the poses are from (marukin) which is a rather new pose store.  The poses shown are all free.  I really like how they show off the clothing well, which is great for bloggers and fashion designers!

I’m Here!

It just wouldn’t be a normal day if I didn’t show you some formal gowns and dresses, now would it?  The black ‘I’m Here’ gown shown above is hidden in the Elemiah Design until May 29th, just have to find it.  The black pearl bracelet and necklace is a sub-o gift from Endless.

The red Eve dress is great for a cocktail party.  This dress is free for [ILAYA] group members.  There is a small L$100 fee to join the [ILAYA] group.

I love the sexy leopard print Lola boots from the Baby Monkey lucky chair.  The boots look absolutely amazing with the red zebra trim dress from the lucky chair at SOMER.

Also at SOMER the black Kimberly evening gown is a gift near the welcome area.  The tan Morgane skin was sent to the Mango, Mango sub-o group yesterday.  I love the dark crimson lipstick that gives the skin just the right amount of seduction!

All Mixed Up!

Today I decided that my swimsuit folder needed reviving.  I tossed out ALL of last year’s suits and hit the stores!  Swim has great suits for the beach.  The white Leopard bikini and trunks are the April dollarbie.  I borrowed our (oh so sexy) Carson to show off the April dollarbie.  *drools*

I also picked up the Polka Dot Stripe bikinis in every color!!!  These new release suits from Swim are half price at L$37 until tomorrow, so go now if you want to add these amazing bikinis to your summer wardrobe.

Check out the half-price trunks for the men!  Too bad they aren’t half off (on Carson)!!!

Also, if you are in the Swim sub-o group then there is a “Mixed Up” group gift available.  You must be in the Swim group for 7 days to receive the gift.  The “Mixed Up” group gift includes swim trunks for the men, a pink tank, and green tank for the men (I seriously doubt Carson joins every single sub-o like I do, so I’m modeling the pink tank and trunks for the men).

The women’s part of the “Mixed Up” sub-o gift from Swim includes three bikini tops which incidentally look fabulous with the new release bikinis!!!  Seriously if you have any intention of getting any of the bikinis then join the Swim sub-o and pick these tops up in a week!

The green Sun Body suit is a dollarbie at ILAYA. and comes with the yellow leggings.  Get the lime green Espadrille wedges from the lucky chair at Duh!.
