Lasso the Moon

So the time has come for you all to meet the boyfriend. hehe His name is Kevin and he helped me out with this post by posing with me (I know…torture, right?). Everything he is wearing is listed at the end along with my items.

I want to thank Kyya Teardrop, owner and creator of Hypnotizing Creations, for sending me her May Group Gift. It is a 50L group join fee but absolutely worth it for absolutely adorable gifts!

It includes this couples blanket with two couples poses in it.

For me it is very nostalgic because I grew up always watching It’s a Wonderful Life every Christmas Eve for 18 years. My favorite part of the movie is when George Bailey and Mary are coming home from the dance singing, “Buffalo gals won’t you come out tonight, come out tonight, come out tonight…and dance by the light of the moon.”

Then George Bailey offers to give Mary the moon and lasso it out of the sky for her. *Swoons* ahh so romantic…This group gift sure sent me into a daydream. hehe

Thank goodness Kevin was there when I fainted from the daydream though…he caught me with this springy pose set. It is number two from the Flower Pedals Hunt at Something New. There are cute little flower particles that float out of it.

Mocking Disco

Sassy! is participating in the Color Exposion Hunt, and their hunt prize is the vibrantly coloured mesh Disco Dress shown.  This hunt runs until the end of May and all of the prizes are free.  The icon you are looking for is a brightly coloured paint splatter.  You can find more information about this hunt at their official blog.

The skin I am in today is a free group gift from MOCK Cosmetics which you can find in past notices.  This one is called Asteria and comes with several bells and whistles like moles, eyelashes, appliers and more.  The group is 250L to join, but the group is always LOADED with generous gifts.   I am also wearing a free wearable lipstick demo that I found in store called Venom Red Lucir which gave the pale lips a bit of tint and shine.

A Spring In My Step

Today I picked up some things from the Flower Pedals Hunt. Each prize costs one linden. This hunt is super short (29 places) and really got me into a Springy mood.

Can’t you hear the birds chirping and the flowers blooming?

This precious little mouthy is #4 in the Flower Pedals Hunt at Kre-ations Mainstore.

The Special Flower necklace comes from #24 Fujiwara’s World.

Number 7 in the FPH is from Nevermore Designs. They have three hunt prizes. One of them includes the black and pink ballet slippers above. Totally adorbs! Another prize is the Wingback Short Back Luxury Chair in Plum Butterlies shown below (5 poses).

Where does the stellar Chevron mesh dress come from you ask? It is the DCNY item at My Attic @ The Deck. It costs 95L and comes in 10 colors. Lola Tangos applier also included (shown above). Comes with black and brown belts or no belt. I ADORE chevron patterns and plan to buy at least half the colors! Alas, I better hurry because the April Edition of My Attic runs through April 30th.

Para Paris

*Yawn* Well I finished moving but I’m beat! I thought I’d do a quick post to let you all know about some hunt items from Paris Metro and Para Designs.

It is kind of an eccentric outfit but I think the elegant nature of Paris Metro is a great contrast to the hard edge of Para Designs. The dress is from Paris Metro’s cart at the Flawless Spring Cart Sale and is called “Bombay Love Charcol Sun Dress.”

This Para Designs Spring Into Kawaii Hunt prize is called “Love Hate.” It comes in tattoo layers of light, dark, and medium PLUS Lola Tangos Bra appliers as well.

The skin is also free! It came from ::DS:: at the Flawless Spring Cart Sale Hunt. “Orazia.Blue Marble.Bare” is the name of it and it came along with the eye makeup tattoo called “Fissure.” The  Flawless Spring Cart Sale Hunt is open til April 28th.

Golly Galoshes!

“Golly Galoshes!” is the expression of surprise my friend Molly always used. I was reminded of it when I found these gorgeous galoshes from the Flower Pedals Hunt @ DUH!

Blooming Into The Season Hunt

Splashes Of Colour

Whew!  It has been a busy and exciting week here at FabFree with the addition of three new bloggers (Goldie, Perse & Care…  AND there are still a couple more to come!) and a guest post by Kyle Beckett!  Before I start my “blah blah  blah” about my outfit, I’d like to say again how wonderful it is to be adding new writers into the mix.  I am looking forward to seeing a wider variety of fashion styles, and stores being shown here.  I also wanted to thank Kyle Beckett for the awesome guest post he did, covering many of the men’s swag bag gifts at the. event HOLLYWOOD (which is ending in just 3 days btw!)

Today I am wearing Mirror Enigma’s latest group gift for April which is the mesh Superbia Dress in white and black.  This group is a little different than most.  The group is free to join, however to receive an invite to the group, you must make a purchase in the store.  I have added to the Superbia Dress a splash of colour with the Cowhide Totes that are part of Ricielli’s Easter Hunt (15L for both).

I picked up the Petit Heart Earrings in Pearl and the Pearl Necklace in the R+a marketplace store for free!  You should check out their entire store while you are picking them up actually because they have a ton of jewelry pieces under 10L.

Plastik Is A Girl’s Best Friend

Wow, my first post as a FabFree blogger! Persephone Sorbet here, but call me Perse! I’m super excited to be given the opportunity to share my love of freebies with the SL community. So, let’s get started!

For my first look, I want to show you all some of the lovely gifts offered by The Plastik. The creator has generously put out two separate gifts – one for the month of April and one in honour of boobies! In this instance, mesh breasts. I eagerly unpacked each box and immediately knew what I wanted to show you guys. Each gift box is 10L, but you get so many things inside each one, I totally recommend buying both.

These Aeda slacks come with many cuff options, for skinny leg, flare leg, digilegs, animal legs, and capris! She also includes a short pair for shorts and minis! I also want to talk about this fabulous corset: it’s called Volkano, and it sure is hot! It comes on all layers, and also includes an applier for Tango breasts. It looks awesome either way! The Anathema Jean boots I have on are also from the Plastik, and are 100% mesh. I am wearing the XL size, and they’re a great fit. They come with three different show colour options – black, colour, and white.

Now, there’s another freebie in my post that I want to mention – although there isn’t a close up, the lovely green eyes I have on are the free gift from Poetic Color. They are incredibly realistic and are absolutely free! My nails are a Pink Fusion hunt prize from . The bracelet is a lovely full perm freebie from BoHo Hobo, and comes in a few patterns and colours.
