A Trip To Couture Boulevard

I got a hot tip from FabFree Reader ZZ yesterday that there is a HUGE lot of absolutely free gifts from some of our favourite designers at Couture Boulevard! I didn’t count them, but I would estimate that there are about 30 gifts available – and no need to join a group. There you will find all kinds of gifts such as hair, clothing, accessories, footwear and so much more! There was even a couple of things for men.

Poison in the Water

I’ll admit that I know almost nothing about Gorean culture and role-play, but I do know a good mesh dress when I see one! This Poison dress is the latest group gift from ::The Sweet Pea::, a new-to-me store selling Gorean/Medieval clothing for women. I love the rich, vibrant colors and the sexy cut of the collar. ::The Sweet Pea:: group is free to join, and you’ll find the dress in the notices — but hurry, because it will only be there for a few more days! I’m carrying water from the well using one of The Water Bearer poses from *~*HopScotch*~*, on sale at the current round of Zodiac – Aquarius (ends 13 February). Making It Count

Usually I am excited for Friday, but this time… I’m dreading it, because it’s back to work for me on Monday! ICK. I decided the best way to spend my last normal work day of Christmas vacation off was to do a little shopping and then head to the Pixel Bean for something decadently sinful… maybe a Mochaccino and a cupcake! The pounds don’t pack on here in SL unless we want them to, so what the heck!

My first shopping stop was to Sweet Leonard where I found three (new to me) group gifts as well as several previous gifts that are available to you after you join the group for 70L. I picked up the My Winter Legwarmer Boots, VIP Gift Winter Bag & The Just Love Me Sheep. I thought the sheep would be a good snuggle, but he makes a great body guard too. The Winter Bag is stuffed with all kinds of winter goodies you’ll need to keep you warm.
My next shopping stop was at Auxiliary where Tyr has just set out a new group gift for their VIPS! The latest group gift is the mesh Printed Sweatshirt shown in the photos that conveniently matched perfectly to the Sweet Leo items I had picked up earlier! I love it when things all come together It comes in several sizes with co-ordinating alpha. This group is 1100L to join. Yes, it’s a steep fee… don’t shoot the messenger – I think it’s worth it if you plan to stay in the group because she quite often puts out new gifts. I have picked up probably triple that amount, value wise in gifts since joining last year. Joining this group also gives you access to VIP discounts.

Hmm… Now that I am done my work here, I think I’ll go follow the same suit in RL! Unfortunately this will cost me money and cut WAY into my calorie count for the day. Worth it? YES! It’s the last day – gotta make it count!

Happy To Be Home!

Hiya Fabulouses! Do you have any idea why I am SOOOO excited that I am dancing around, singing happy tunes? Well…

#1. GField put out these adorable mesh dresses as free gifts in their store in both red and blue – available in several colours. No need to join a subscribo or a group – just go get them!

#2. I’m home *dances around the room*, I’M HOME! I arrived home this evening after a classic wild holiday season filled with all those family members I was so glad to see again, yet so relieved to escape from! Is that wrong? :) Now.. I can blog 7 days a week again! Count em – 1,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7! YAY!!! I hope you all enjoyed your holiday seasons how ever you celebrated!

GField also put back out the Christmas gift they put out last year for anyone who missed it! It is a really sweet dress and a necklace (non-mesh)

The gorgeous skin I am in today is also a Christmas gift that was sent out in Belleza group notices on December 24th. Kate is available in the sunkissed skin tone that I am wearing, as well as a few others and there is also a skin gift for the guys too! The group is 250L to join and there is always amazing gifts!

Spring Flowers And Winter Berries

One of the wonderful things about Second Life is that when you tire of winter snow, there’s sure to be a warm-weather sim just a click away. I did a search for “garden” and wound up in this lovely, peaceful meadow – I feel like I’m in a Van Gogh painting. Look, I caught a butterfly!

This gorgeous floral gown was recently sent to Kungler’s group members (check your group notices or head over to the store to pick one up). I love the way it hugs my curves in old Hollywood glam-style. The Kungler’s group is 50L to join, but every month group members receive something unique and beautiful – you won’t be disappointed!

My jewelry, called Winter Berries, are advent gifts from Chop Zuey Couture. These gifts are free to everyone, and are all still available, so pop over and pick yours up. My hair and skin are not free, but are both amazing deals from “”D!va”" and Glam Affair at Collabor88. The luscious lips of the skin and the wispy strands of hair… I couldn’t resist!

That’s MISS Santa, Baby!

Santa has been working so hard and is under so much stress these days. To make matters worse, his cholesterol was waaay up at his checkup last month, and his doctor recommended that he get some exercise and cut back on the sweets. And you know Santa: that’s not going to be easy! So the elves and I keep trying to lure him outside for some fresh air – thankfully Santa can’t resist a good snowball fight!

My adorable outfit, called Miss Santa, is a free gift from Blueberry. It includes the mesh dress, hat, and chunky, mesh legwarmer boots. You don’t have to join a group to get the gift; just head over to the store and click the display on the wall. I do recommend that you also give the subscribo a click before you leave because Blueberry frequently sends generous gifts out to subscribers.

My cute Gingerbread Man jewelry is an advent gift from *Perception*. You can’t see the matching earrings through my pepperminty hair – an advent gift from *Alice Project* - but I promise they’re in there. The Glam Project

I have a quickie for you. The utterly adorable mesh Tiffany hair is today’s advent gift from Alice Project. If you’ve been keeping up with the advents then you already know the Alice Project gifts have been pretty amazing and this is the SECOND hair!
