Putting the Fine in Finesmith

If for whatever reason you missed, Love’s FabFree Designer of The Day post on April 26th regarding Finesmith, then I am here to remind you to visit the store. This fierce take no prisoners pink and spiked jewelry set is everything with the earrings, necklace, and bracelet! Now I don’t mind piecing together different jewelry pieces, but I love it when I can just slip on an entire set and know it will seamlessly go together! I actually first went to the store to retrieve the April gift, pictured below, and a few days later they had the May gift was out! Actually to be quiet honest, they have a series of group gifts available, just ready for the taking! Even better, the group is free to join! I know its a battle to manage which 42 groups to keep on your list, but I can tell you, that Finesmith has stayed on my group list for a very long time. The quality and detail of their jewelry is amazing, and the fact that a little piece of their creativity is released each month is just purely wonderful.

The April gift comes with the earrings, necklace, and collar as separate pieces. What I like about that is, if I don’t want such an extravagant look, I can choose not to wear the collar piece while just sporting the other two items.

One Stop Shopping with B!asta and Two Sisters Treasures

Hey there! It’s Leila again and I have lots to show you in this post! Freebies, Group Gifts, Midnight Mania and a Sixty Linden Weekend Deal, all in this post, so please read on! Here’s a pic of this beautiful and very inexpensive skin I’m wearing in this post, I’ll talk about it later on. It comes also with a shape (not used) and Lola’s Tango appliers.

What’s more, all of these outfits also come with appliers and I’m wearing my mesh breasts in this post!

I do not touch up my pictures other than to crop and put them together for easier viewing, so this is exactly how the skin and items look on me to me. I use a simple clear white windlight setting for my pictures as well. (analutetia-avataroptwhiter) I only mention this because I know there’s a lot of questions about how things look in pictures versus how they look in world so, this is just to say what you see from me is what you would get in world with these same settings.

So on to the goodies!

This outfit is FREE. Absolutely FREE. It’s on the main desk at B!asta.

It is the Generation X outfit and comes with the socks, skirt, corset and shrug, and also includes the breast applier. It does not come with underpants though so if you’re modest like I am, I suggest wearing a pair of your own undies. I had a tintable pair and tinted mine to match the solid color in the skirt. Voila!

With this outfit I am wearing a FREE jewelry set from Two Sisters Treasures. This is a April group gift except for the bracelets which is a midnight mania prize. Join the group and then click the boxes under the midnight mania boards to snag this jewelry set and another one I’m about to show you as well. You must be a group member to click the midnight mania boards and the goals are only around 60 people so you should have no trouble snagging those bracelets. There’s also two other gifts up there but I’ll let you find out about those yourself.

These boots are a former group gift from Mary Jane Shoes. They are the sleek ankle boots in chocolate. As I said they are a former group gift but Mary Jane Shoes gives a pair of shoes or boots away every month as a group gift and I’m about to show you the gift for this month in just a moment. There’s also a pair of biker boots at the shop for men. Group is free to join!

The skin I am wearing is one of the new items at the brand new round of Structure Your Skin Project. This skin is by AnnaA Body Shop. It comes with the skin, eyebrow shaper, a hide lashes alpha layer, a shape (NOT SHOWN) and the tango appliers. It also has two versions of the skin and applier, with or without nipples. You get the whole shebang for 99L which is an amazing price and I think it’s an adorable skin. Try the provided demo of course!

Finally, the hair I am wearing is a former Hair Fair group gift that is still available at Damselfly for FREE The pack is a full fatpack so you’re sure to find a shade that works for you. There is also a gift available there for men!

The nails I am wearing are NOT FREE, I just picked something out of my inventory. These are the Precious nails in white from Candy Nail.

Next up is the current Group Gift @ B!asta! This beautiful gown is FREE for group members. It does cost 50L to join the group but B!asta gives at least one gift every month as well as participating in lots of events so it’s worth it to join and get all the great goodies! This dress comes with the top, glitch, skirt and Lola’s tango applier. I tried to get a couple pictures where you could really see the movement of the skirt, so pretty.

The jewelry I’m wearing with the dress is also a Free group gift from Two Sister’s Treasures. This is the March Black Diamond and Gold set. You can snag all the pieces with your group tag except for the earrings which you’ll need to slap the mm board to grab. If you scroll back up to my first pic you can get a close up of how pretty this set really is. Again the group is free to join.

The shoes are the aforementioned Free Group Gift heels from Mary Jane Shoes They are the Vogue shoes in Jet and come with the a hud for metals and skin color adjustments. Group is free to join.

This is the Autumn in Bali set in purple, includes the usual layers, skirt and Lola’s tango applier. It fits and moves beautifully and is a great little outfit to wear hanging out at the beach or to go casual dancing in! Hopefully my pictures show the moevement somewhat.

For fun I also picked up this Jewelry set from Two Sisters Treasures. I am such a fan of SL Jewelry where we can have sparkle (But not BLING) all the time! This Star Silver Beaded Earrings, Necklace and Bangles. Each part is only 10L each so everything for 30L! All of Two Sisters Treasures Jewelry has resizers and I used them to make the necklace a lot shorter so it would go with this dress.

Show Me the Shoes

Have you ever started getting dress, and got to the point where you had the grand task of trying to find the perfect shoes? This is my dilemma on the daily. I stand on my pose stand, plucking through the items of my inventory, trying to find the right pair of shoes for a particular outfit. I attach, I detach… I attach, I detach, the endless cycle that usually ends with me wearing one of my “go-to” shoes. You know the pair, they usually go with everything, and it makes life easier to just suck it up and put them on… especially when you have impatient family members telling you to hurry up and finished getting dressed. Well the other day, I said, enough was enough, I needed to find more shoes! Because we all know, a lady can never have too many shoes. RIGHT?!

So my first stop on my hunt for shoes, was a trip to VG shoes. The last time I went there, I was not disappointed. So on my return trip, I was all to thrilled to see some new goodies.

Item one is their VG Moto Unisex Olive boot, which does come with resize scripts for adjusting the size. When I first put them on, they were a little too big, so I went ahead and made them smaller. My favorite part about these shoes, are the studs! It is an excellent decorative touch!

The second item up for grabs are these VG Dolce Nude shoes! I get excited just thinking about them! I love it when designers allow for texture changes through a hud. This means, you can remix the look of the shoe to match the outfit you are wearing. The overall shoe remains nude, but where you see the red, that can be changed to a few other patterns through the shoe hud. You can also change the spike and studs from silver to gold!

Now the shoes aren’t free, you have to join the free VG shoes group in order to purchase each pair of shoes for $15L. All together this was $30L’s well spent!

My last shoe find was from Just Designs, they currently have this beauty out as a group gift. The group is free to join, and these JD Deviant shoes are free for the taking. The detail, the fierceness, the whole design of the shoe just demands a closer look! I do have to give some credit to my mom, she’s the one that told me about this find! Hi^5!

Dangerously Lethal

When I think about the word lethal, I think edgy, risky, exciting, and ready to go against the grain to stand out. Ladies, I think you are all lethal enough to pull off these group gifts from Lethal. The other day I was at the store with my mother, and while she was buying up the place, I came across their section of group gifts. The outfit above is a mixture of two group gifts, called LC Chain Legging & Suspender and LC Distress Booties . The outfit itself leaves little to the imagination, but you can choose to add a crop top. We all know some people aren’t prepared for all your sexiness. The shoes are an older group gift that is still available. I talked about these booties last year around Halloween, and mentioned how much I loved them. I still love these shoes and wear them from time to time in post, because they just about go with everything.

The other gift they have available are these gold leggings, which I paired with their not free over-sized denim jacket. I must say, I love gold… seriously.. gold is my favorite metal/color. Therefore, I will wear these legging until they bust at the seams!

Tipping My Hat, Its St. Patricks Day

I have a four leaf clover and a pot of gold on my hat, hopefully with luck on my side, a 6’7 handome leprechaun will find me. In the meantime while I wait, how about I tell you about my outfit. This mesh St. Paddy’s day hat by Ruca Tease, is the hat of all hats, and its a freebie that you can find on marketplace. The detail on it is a amazing, I’m still trying to figure out how to cash in that pot of gold for a pot of lindens! Also, there is a little surprise when you touch the hat while wearing it, I won’t tell you what it is, because I think it is something you should see for yourself. BUT I will say that the surprise is hilarious! Oh, and with the hat, you also get some whiskey. *Be sure to watch out for that third sip*

Of course, to match the hat, I had to find a green dress. This wasn’t a hard task, since JAVA Fashion Designs sent out a dress in their notices, but if you aren’t in the group, you can find it in the store for 10L. This little piece is a one shoulder mesh dress, that stops just above the knee.

Mojo’s Fall Flavored Skin

Yay! Mojo has a new gift for November, and look, the make-up is perfectly themed for the Fall! I love the orange, yellow, and reds in the eyeshadow with the relatively nude lip. This way, if you chose to wear a vibrant lip color or something simple, you have the choice to do so.

I went on ahead and paired this skin with this wild mane, which is a gift from Alli & Ali Designs called Ivana Hair Dark Brown. It is a two piece set with a top and bottom, the bottom portion provides the length and fullness that you see in the picture.

Together the two give off a nice romantic fall themed look, wouldn’t you agree?

Stunning Dresses By Lexi

My Rez-Day is around the corner and I am having my own little dinner party so I have been desperately looking for a nice formal dress that will make me shine on my day. Well Dresses by Lexi may be the answer to what I have been looking for!

These three dress are only a few of what they have available. Starting from the left, is the past group gift from July (which is still available) called Venus Sunrise . The shoulder piece is optional, and add the extra touch of elegance. The middle dress is the October group gift appropriately titled Entice. If I could only be certain that my mother wouldn’t snatch me by my ear, I would totally wear this for dinner. You know, I may just take that chance. Lastly, but not least, the the third dress is the current November dress called Obsession and probably the most appropriate for a dinner party. Falling Into Shiki

Dark sky, November leaves, with a chilly breeze, it might be time to snuggle up to something warm. Lucky for me, the dashing Mr. Foxdale was there to keep me warm when we ventured out into the cool weather to show off these Men and Women group gifts from Shiki.

To say the least I was rather happy that our first outfits, the October group gifts, came with such a nice coat for Mr. Foxdale. The coats helped block some of the chill, and I am sure Cal would have given me the coat if I wasn’t so stubborn. Oh the things we women do for fashion! But come on, look at the dress! Does it not yell,Fall Styling Diva!

When it was time to change outfits, I think I knocked Cal of his feet with Shiki September gift. That statement is more literal than figurative, in many more ways than one. Being the captain clumsy person I am, I accidentally removed the platform causing Cal and I to plumet to the ground. So even though we were having a near death experience, I must admit we were looking damn good as we were falling. If I could have snapped a picture, instead of scrambling to fly, it probably would have been a really nice picture. In my opinion the dress is a nice tribute to fall flowers and it compliments Cal striped cardigan. These looks definitely revamp the classical idea of cheesy matching couple outfits, and makes it fashionable. But, coupled or not, I would still head out in either of these dresses alone.

Now just because I only highlighted two set of outfits, does not mean their isn’t more at the store. If your coupled up, you can make it a date night. OH and its free to join the group!

Eskimo Fashion Brings The Heat!

The Eskimo Fashion’s Vanity Shack, has quite a bit of freebies once you join the group, which you can do once you enter the mainstore. I am such a fan of this denim jacket, and I decided to be a little risky but not wearing anything else underneath because think the jacket covers the girls just fine. I like how there is a mixture of textures between black leather and denim, I think it adds a little edge that you can either soften with a turtle neck top or spice up.

Now just because its Fall, doesn’t mean we don’t still have our warm days. So before the snow takes over everywhere, you should still venture over to the beach and wear this colorful dress. The caribbean girl that I am cannot resist colors, and this dress has such a nice mixture of red, yellow, and green. So if you are like me, and have a beach front home or still take trips over to beaches, you will want to snag this dress.

Lastly, this flirty dress can ease on over from summer to fall with some brown boots and a denim jacket. The dress also come with a hud, where you can change the color to four other colors to match your mood. Now, these are just some of the items that are in the Vanity Shack at Eskimo Fashion that I really wanted to share, but there are plenty more goodies left.

Oh, let me share a little interesting fact about me, I like to make certain seasonal looks cross over to other seasons. Its all about color coordination and adding the right mixes of pieces together. These designer create some really great stuff, and its hard for me to turn away from an item just because its an item for a certain season.
