Happy Easter!

J StyleZ has designed a very cute mesh spring dress called Niamh for the Spring Is Near Acid Lily Simwide Hunt. The adorable daffodil printed dress is just what I needed for this weekend and you can find it hidden in a lady bug hunt icon at Acid Lily (5L).

I found the Easter Basket shown on marketplace in the !gO! store for just 1L. I may have to take some little chickies out and make room for some Cadbury’s Easter Cream Eggs (mmm those are my favourite Easter candy craving!), but it is pretty cute with the dress! I’m curious now… What’s your “Easter Candy Poison”?

The skin I am in today is a free gift from HUIT in celebration of the opening of there new R2 location. It comes with cleavage and no cleavage option and there is no need to join a group – just go visit the shop and pick it up!

Afternoon Ice Skating

My little corner of Second Life is starting to warm up (a little), but it’s still cold enough for an afternoon of ice skating. I’m such a klutz and tend to spend more time on my fanny than I do upright. But Gavin played hockey in high school and still gets around pretty well on his old skates. Duncan, my Great Dane, is such a protector… he’s not sure yet how he feels about Gavin, but would rather not get his paws all cold and wet, so he keeps watch from the sidelines. Good thing… I’d probably fall on him anyway!

Today I’m wearing a super-cozy, mesh sweater dress, the Cold Winter Nights Hunt prize from !gO! (there is also a male version in the box). All prizes in this hunt are 10L, and will be available until February 15th. Gavin’s sweater is the Winter Wonderland Hunt gift from Rispetto Designs. WWL Hunt gifts are free (0L) and are available until February 15th. Completing the look, Gavin added a pair of mesh jeans, also from Rispetto Designs, which you can still find under the Christmas tree for a few more days (hurry!). His texture-change scarf is a free gift from ::[MrPoet]::. And those hockey skates? The CWNH prize from [ Organica ]. I picked up this cute pose at the Valentine’s Sale at Glitterati Poses; all couples and friend poses are on sale until February 21st.

The skin I’m in today is the Femboy Hunt gift from .::WoW Skins::. This is a female skin that comes with and without cleavage. Prizes in the FBH are 2L, but you’ll need to hurry because the hunt ends today! I picked up my cute hair for 70% off at the [Elikatira] Retirement Sale. EVERYTHING in the store is on sale until February 23rd, and then everything will be retired. So don’t miss this fabulous sale! Oh, and my earrings, which you can barely see, are a dollarbie from Addiction Jewelry. You’ll find them in a gift box on the table when you walk in.

Gavin’s skin is the Xmas Gift in the male group gift box from -Belleza- (250L to join); it comes in several different shades. The pose he’s in behind me is from a pack from last week’s Fifty Linden Friday by Glitterati Poses. It was still available at the 50L price as of this afternoon, but it won’t be there tomorrow, I’m sure!

I’d better go save him now… I think Duncan is giving him the evil eye!

I’m Just Not Ready, That’s All There Is To It

I am just not ready for summer to be over, but the turning leaves are telling me otherwise. So long short shorts… I’ll see you again next summer.

Thank goodness JustB has some sexy freyed jeans to replace my shorts with in store right now for 1L! I am still rebelling a little with this teeny bra top, but hey – its still a little warm out… and how could I pass up an opportunity to wear this cute shirt from !Go that is a free group gift? The group is free to join, so what are you waiting for? :)

I’m also wearing Shush‘s August group gift which is this VIP pass around my neck. I am hoping it is a free pass to fly to Aruba when ever I want this winter… It’s worth a try! The Shush inworld group is 50L to join, but there are three other group gifts available that are very cute – so worth it in my opinion! Another fun item I am wearing from Shush is the Love, Be My Last Tattoo. It’s a previous hunt item that was on a giant wall with tons of other previous hunt items for 5L each. I’m sure you all know by now, I’m a sucker for anything with my name on it. I should also mention that Shush is having a Clearance Sale that runs until September 4th – Everything in the store is 50L or less (not including fatpacks).
