She’s a Beetlebones Hamster Magician at the Etchaflesh Circus…

Most of you will recall that Trinket blogged about these adorable Dwarf Hamsters for the Arcade Gatcha Event.   I’ve seen these cute little critters all over the grid and meant to get back to the Arcade Event to score one…but it just didn’t happen.  While out and about gathering landmarks for items…I ended up in one of my favorite little stores…Beetlebones.  Suetabulous has a funky little place full of her whimsical, eclectic creations…and much to my surprise, I discovered that these hamsters were created by her!  She has a gatcha display board where you can still pay the 100L to take your chance on getting one of several different coat types (mine is Siberian Cocoa).  For that 100L you get the adorable avatar (it is mesh so you will need a mesh enabled viewer) AND a fabulous AO that just has the most adorable animations in it.  Sue also has a really cute Winter Bunny Avatar gatcha board for only 50L.

I also stumbled on the fun little [Etchaflesh/Virtual Props] Trick and Treats Hunt being hosted by the owners of [Etchaflesh] and Virtual Props & Poses.  You don’t have to join the group to participate in the hunt, but if you do…it is free to join; with frequent sales and perks.  [Etchaflesh] specializes in gorgeous mesh corsets and Virtual Props & Poses has a wide range of poses and props; unlike any I’ve seen around the grid.  Collect 25 candies on your Hunt HUD and redeem them at the prize kiosks for either corsets or a fun pose/prop pack…I chose the Magician pack; which comes with several hats (with and without doves), the wand, and several poses.  The best part is that the poses and props were compatible with my hamster avi…with just minor fitting of the hat and wand.  I also picked up the fabulous circus background texture at the hunt…in the Virtual Props & Poses store…for FREE!! Gotta just love that <3<3

The candies aren’t hard to find…and you can go back each day to collect another 25 candies and redeem them for another prize!

.[rhetoric]. has several gifts in store through group gifts, midnight mania,  lucky boards, the lucky cupcake and camper chairs.  They also have a “Shelf of Doom” that has quite a few items priced between 0-10L!  It would literally take me days to blog all of the freebies or nearly freebies in this store.. so I’ll show you a few today.

Before I get into the .[rhetoric]. goodies, I will tell you about my skin and hair before they get lost in the shuffle! The skin I have on today is a Skintimate Lucky Board win called Vegas Porcelain Lucky Board Exclusive. You could wear this skin as a daily skin, and could easily add makeup layers over top.  The skin tone is pale and it features lovely rosey red lips and black lined eyes.  My lovely locks are  a 35L Gatcha prize from Heart Softens called Raio Carrot. Heart Softens also has a group gift and a lucky board .  In the following photos I am also wearing a Para Designs gift called Gothic Kiss Spots & Squares Tattoo.  This is not part of the skin or the outfits.

The first treat I picked up at .[rhetoric]. was the group gift which is the Studded Green Apple outfit I am wearing in the photo below.  The group is free to join and will keep you up to date on new releases and upcoming group gifts.

I logged on to a Midnight Mania Prize win this morning!  .[rhetoric]. sent me Shenzi in Aqua that can be worn a couple of different ways..  with or without leggings, or the skirt.  I really like the laced up leggings  -  I think they with many other items in my inventory.  (shoes not included)

While I was in there, I had some free time, so I thought I’d see if I could wait out the prize camper and I managed to earn a couple of really great outfits!

The first one is called MILF and includes the ‘all tied up’ body suit and zippered low rise pants.  It also includes a choker and earrings. (shoes not included).  Camp time for this one was 45 minutes.

My second prize camp win is called Scy and includes the seductive lacy dress shown below along with the matching boots, choker and earrings. Camp time for this one was 60 minutes.

As I was lounging around in the camping chair, I was able to cam to the lucky boards and stalk those too!  I won Rocker Stripes in Red which comes with the striped tank top, belted denim jeans and a bracelet.  (shoes not included)

We Wear Short Shorts This August!

It’s that time again, the beginning of the month, well almost..    The time when a lot of the designers put out their monthly gifts!  YAY!   Wilson’s Closet has done just that, and has her new group gift out for us ladies to snatch!  The group gift consists of these super short shorts and the tangerine buttoned (or unbuttoned you might say) top.  You simply need to join the group  which is free to join, and hit the free gift sign.
