Hi all, I went out and about through second life sales spending all my Lindens :C! But I found some great items for all of you while I ran through these sales! The chair you see beside me is from fri.home in this weeks Fifty Linden Fridays. This chair is exactly like a chair I own in real life so I just had to snatch it up and show it off to you all! If the name of the weekly event didn’t give away the price of the chair. *Giggle* Then I shall tell you that the chair is only 50 lindens till midnight SLT tonight. So run and get it before it goes up! The cute little bird dress you see me wearing in the photo is a dollarbie at M*Motion as a Spring thank you gift. Love sent me in the way of this dress and I don’t have enough words to thank her for showing me it with its adorable birdie on the front.

The beautiful nails I am sporting in the photo are a group gift at [Bamboo] Nails. These nails are just fabulous with the option to change each individual nail color to being able to change the nail length in an all in one hud! You can call me the nail freak I guess since in every blog post I do I have to throw in a pair of nails, but hey I’m fine with that! And now for the finishing touch to this post. My eyes and lip gloss are both from BCC. which at the moment has a sale going on and all items including skin packs! Sadly I couldn’t get one of the skins to fit the post so I showed off another item on sale my eyes! They’re only 40L a color which is great for me because the eyes I wear 24/7 are a free gift from BCC. Near where you can get my old eyes for free there are stacks of gifts ranging from 0L-10L. Which just so happens to have a box with my lip gloss in it for 1L it has 6 options in the box with 3 different color options so how awesome right?

Okay well I’m going to take a nap in my new rocking chair.

Making It Count

Usually I am excited for Friday, but this time… I’m dreading it, because it’s back to work for me on Monday! ICK. I decided the best way to spend my last normal work day of Christmas vacation off was to do a little shopping and then head to the Pixel Bean for something decadently sinful… maybe a Mochaccino and a cupcake! The pounds don’t pack on here in SL unless we want them to, so what the heck!

My first shopping stop was to Sweet Leonard where I found three (new to me) group gifts as well as several previous gifts that are available to you after you join the group for 70L. I picked up the My Winter Legwarmer Boots, VIP Gift Winter Bag & The Just Love Me Sheep. I thought the sheep would be a good snuggle, but he makes a great body guard too. The Winter Bag is stuffed with all kinds of winter goodies you’ll need to keep you warm.
My next shopping stop was at Auxiliary where Tyr has just set out a new group gift for their VIPS! The latest group gift is the mesh Printed Sweatshirt shown in the photos that conveniently matched perfectly to the Sweet Leo items I had picked up earlier! I love it when things all come together It comes in several sizes with co-ordinating alpha. This group is 1100L to join. Yes, it’s a steep fee… don’t shoot the messenger – I think it’s worth it if you plan to stay in the group because she quite often puts out new gifts. I have picked up probably triple that amount, value wise in gifts since joining last year. Joining this group also gives you access to VIP discounts.

Hmm… Now that I am done my work here, I think I’ll go follow the same suit in RL! Unfortunately this will cost me money and cut WAY into my calorie count for the day. Worth it? YES! It’s the last day – gotta make it count!

Foppish Wynter Wonderland

Snow has officially fallen all over SL. Foppish has new group gift that will keep you warm while enjoying this winter wonderland. The Bicolor Penguin coat is completely mesh and includes a mesh cami (not shown). The sassy short Iris hair was sent to ChiChickie! sub-o members a few weeks ago and is still available in the history. Love showed the Wynter skin from Belleza last week. This skin was L$50 for Fifty Linden Friday. If you somehow missed it, the skin is now available for L$500.

Night at the Beach

Tonight I feel like taking one last stroll on the beach before the last days of summer rush by. Of course I needed a super cute bikini so I headed straight over to Faboo and won the Coral Floral and Hot Pink Floral bikinis from the lucky board. There is one more bikini in the lucky board but I wasn’t able to win it.

I also grabbed the Pink Ribbon bikini which is the Faboo group gift for October. Yes, October!!! The bikini is available early in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Sumer Time Beach Ball poses came from D Luxx Poses, but I can’t find them in store now. If you happen to know if they are still available leave a comment.

Fri.day in New England

I’ve always wanted to spend autumn in New England, so today I did just that. I needed something a tad warmer for the chilly weather. After searching all day, I found the prefect outfit at Fri.day. The mesh Marie jackets are a group gift for Fri.day VIP members. There is a L$50 enrollment fee to join and members receive monthly gifts. I also picked up Designer jeans for only L$50 in the discount room and a white Basic cami absolutely free.

It’s easy to look like a tourist in New England and I knew I would need to accessorize if I wanted to blend in with the locals. I dusted off the blue denim Zimmy flats from my inventory. If you don’t already have these shoes, they shoes are free at Shiny Things. The Tea Time necklace is from LOULOU&CO for the Fairest Of Them All hunt. I also grabbed the Tweed bag at LOULOU&CO for The Autumn Effect hunt.

The pale Bianca skin is the midnight mania gift at Estel. I couldn’t resist the Cameron ponytail for just L$40 per color pack at Fri.day.

A Lucky Attic

I spent the morning checking out Y&R and found some really adorable fashions for free, or nearly free either through group gifts / dollarbies or lucky board prizes! (Oh shoot… I just noticed someone rezzed in my picture above.. “say cheese whoever you are!”).

Before I get into the Y&R goodies, I have to tell you about the *WOOT* AWESOME FREE BOOTS I am wearing! At Hoorenbeek if you have been a subscriber for more than two weeks you can pick up the Lucille Boots in Coffee as a free gift. If you are a new subscriber, you will have to subscribe and wait the two week period. Hopefully they will still be around in two weeks, but if not, you’ll be set for the next fantastic Hoorenbeek gift! There is also a gift for men

Ok.. Onto the Y&R goods! I found the Long Hip Hop Girl T-Shirt up in the attic by the lucky boards as I was waiting.. and waiting… and waiting for my letter to come up! This top is 30L, but I couldn’t pass it up because it went so cute with the new skirts I was about to win. The skirt shown above is the Woolen Skirt LB Gift and the skirt below is the Half Body Skirt LB Pumpkin which both can be found in the lucky boards. You’ll have to join the group to access the lucky boards, but it’s free.. and you’ll need to anyways to pick up the fantastic Woolen Socks and Everybody Hates Waiting Pose Set which are free group gifts by the entrance of the store. The Big Bow Hairband was also found near the entrance of the store and was just 1L. Doesn’t it look adorable with Truth’s new release Twila? I have always been a big fan of Truth hair, but these new mesh styles are killin me!… and my bank lol.

I’m a little late on the whole Easter thing, but at Bella’s Lullaby you can pick up the BL Easter Gift with your free group tag activation, that includes the holdable bunny and the carrot nom. They have a few gifts sitting around such as the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Rigged Mesh bag I showed the other day (and again today because I love it!) as well as group lucky boards.

The newest item in the lucky boards at Y&R is the Spring’s Back Dress which is the sweet belted red skirt below that I am showing with a plain white cami freebie from Fri.day.

Season’s Hunt – A Roof Over My Head & A Log On The Fire

I’m showing off a few more goodies from The Season’s Hunt. There are a few more days to participate – make sure you get this hunt in before its over – it’s a good one!

The beautiful fireplace in the photo below is from LISP and is a free TSH gift. It comes scripted with a few fire options. It sparks and smokes, quite naturally for a pixel fireplace!

The hair I am wearing can be found at fri.day and is called Apple. It comes with a few different hair colours and includes the hat. My New York Times Tribune Tribute T-Shirt came in both white and yellow is from Alphavillian. My cozy scarf from Tres Blah and my Flower Mouton Boots from +Mocha+. The pants I have previously blogged in the pastel colour – they can be found at The Magic Nook.

In need of a warm and cozy home? L2 Studio is giving away a whole house. It is a smaller sized house, however it is stretchable, so you can make it larger. The colours are rich and warm – perfect for fall. My photo really doesn’t do the house justice, you’ll have to go pick it up and see it for yourself!

Mission: Little White Skirt & More!

I popped into Y&R today on a mission to find a little white skirt and found just what I was looking for… and also – two newer lucky board prizes! The Short Jacket in pink was the first win. I have layered the jacket over Fri.day’s Basic White Cami Freebie and paired it up with the skirt I was hunting for lol, isn’t it cute? It is called Short Laced Skirt and is just 40L. While I love hunting for freebies, I also think it’s a good idea to support the shops so they can continue to make us these wonderful creations. We would be naked without them! The accessories I have on with the outfit are Caroline’s Bellini White Pearl Necklace and Bracelet which is a freebie at The FabFree Station, as well as Pepper’s Pieces Ring which is a 5L dollarbie at Pepper.

My second lucky board win at Y&R was the Off-Shoulder Blouse in brown that has the sweetest lace trim across the top. It also appears to go quite nice with my new white skirt!

The skin I have on today is the Platinum Hunt item from Filthy Skins. It has a sunkissed look to it and goes fabulous with blonde hair! The items in The Platinum Hunt are 10L and ends on August 31st. Speaking of hair… The hair I have on has been previously blogged months ago, but is still available for free. Stardust Haiku

The beautiful Stardust Haiku skin and shape is a new gift from Heartsick for the Geekgasm Hunt. I normally do not show shapes but this combo was so pretty I couldn’t resist!
