Prisms of Love

I have a bit of a quickie post for you this time! I was down at Prism and noticed they have a few hunts going on. I located the “Let Your Creations Be Known Hunt” icon (which is a little bench) in store, and inside the hunt icon was the non-mesh Collette Outfit that includes the Sweater, Skirt & Sweater Sash shown. Omigosh! What are you all doing here in my bedroom? I was just getting ready for bed! Can’t a girl take a night off? Since you are all here anyways, I may as well tell you about some goodies I found today!

I’ll start with this lovely Vintage Console Table & Mirror. You can find this mesh set for FREE at RnB Designs Furniture after you locate the Stupid Cupid Hunt icon which is a cupid arrow. Together they are just 5 prims… Now you know why I picked it up… because it’s got my name on it – but it is a fantastical piece you won’t want to miss out on either!

The set of lavender and rose mesh nighties with matching slippers is a free Cupid’s Arrow Hunt prize at SAKIDE. It includes both colours of the heart printed nightie in several sizes and matching slippers. The hunt icon you are searching for is a heart with arrows through it.

The dainty jewelry set I am wearing today is a free gift from Alienbear that dates way back to September 2009, but it is super cute, and still available to group members (free to join), along with a huge abundance of previous gifts. You’ll need to join the group to enter the building, but it will be well worth it once you get in and see ALL of the gifts!

Love the skin I am in? Me too.. and it was just 1L! This is the latest dollarbie (#7) that is up on the wall at My Ugly Dorothy. The previous 6 are still available as well. It features a youthful look with rosy cheeks, and pink glossed lips.

Hunting For Valentines

Have you guys checked out the Valentines Hunt at Ricielli yet? I went down to Ricielli this morning and picked up the prizes I wanted. I love Ricielli hunts because the icons are SO big which makes them easy to find, and they give you a prize preview before hand (which I have added at the end of this post, in case you haven’t seen it), so you know exactly what you are getting. Each prize is 15L and the icon is a heart shaped gift box wrapped with a ribbon. You’ll see it the minute you TP in lol.

One of my favourite prizes in this hunt is the Pam Mesh Jacket that I have paired up with the Simply Ravishing Dress from Sassy! This champagne coloured dress includes Lola Tango Appliers (not shown) and is a free Mon Amour Hunt prize. I am also wearing the Vintage Shiny Floral Jeans (I have shown these a few times already, but I love them!) that I won in the midnight mania board at SAKIDE.

Warm & Sassy!

I was doing a little shopping in Sassy! yesterday and spied a light blue 2013 hunt icon cleverly hidden. The New In 2013 Hunt has ended, but the prize is still out at Sassy! (atleast it is today!), and it is this beautiful mesh Nevermore Dress in a blue/grey retro print. I decided to put a little boho / beachy spin on it, and add a floppy summer hat and a sea shell necklace (Vintage Beach Necklace) that I found on Marketplace in the !BF! store for 1L.

We Could Use More Peace On Earth

Before I begin my usual spiel , I just wanted to express my deep personal condolences and warm virtual hugs to anyone touched by today’s very sad tragedy in Connecticut. I have little ones (well semi-little, mostly bigger than me…) myself and I cannot even begin to imagine the trauma and pain involved.

The fifth annual Peace on Earth Hunt is proving to be a fantastic hunt filled with plenty of absolutely free prizes! The hunt icon to seek is a globe and this hunt runs until January 6th. Paris Metro‘s Peace On Earth Hunt prize this year is the stunning Let it Snow Gown in a deep shade of emerald green. In the photo below, I have taken off the long satin cape to showcase the Beloved Jewelry Set that includes the Chantelle Earrings and Necklace in both Emerald and Ruby jewels. Dirty Turkey Hunting

The Dirty Turkey Hunt V3.0 began on November 1st and runs until November 30th! If you haven’t checked out the official blog for this hunt yet, be sure to – because there are approximately 150 designers participating and the gifts (which are free!) that I have picked up so far, are a lot of fun! The icon to search for is a little round turkey box. In this post, I am displaying a few of the prizes you can find, and will be sure to show you more as I pick them up!

The playful hat I am wearing is called the Kawaii Turkey Chapka and is the gift you will find hidden at EPIC. The Pilgrim Girl pose shown above with the pumpkins and the rifle can be found at Sparrowtree Studio Poses and also comes in a guy’s version.

Nom Nom, Cuppycakes Everywhere ~ Part 1

Nom nom nom, Im eating all the cupcakes I can find around SL. They are soo yummy for the CupCake War Hunt, which runs July 15-August 13.

AlterEgo‘s CupCake War outfit is out of this world. It’s a complete outfit with top, sleeves, skirt, stockings and boomers. You can wear just the pink t-shirt or as I have with the long sleeves. I’m loving this outfit.

I found these Cuppynoms earrings at Malfean Visions. Nom Nom, they were the perfect accessory for AlterEgo‘s CupCake wars outfit.

Faces Studios has a complete avatar out for the CupCake War Hunt. It’s called Anna ~ Diva ~ Tan. It includes the shape, eyes, eyebrow hairbase, 2 different layers for cleavage, and 2 different skins. The bikini is Bells Boutique‘s Hey Cupcake bikini for the CCWH.

The 2 different Anna skins from Faces Studios are shown here. One with a closed mouth, the other with teeth option. This is a very cute avatar.

I actually have on 3 different CupCake War Hunt items here. The first is the handbag from BagLady Designs. My deep purple A Night Out Jeans are from Yellow Berry. The tank top is part of another gift from Legal Insanity that I will blog in my next post.

This iaith skirt from Shades of October/kieli is a great find. Its a sculpt skirt, but it comes with an alpha layer so your body doesn’t show thru it. I’m loving it.
